5.0 out of 5 stars A powerful read!

This book should be on every educator's bookshelf. It provides an insightful and thorough examination of how making thinking visible enables and empowers learners. This book touches on building understanding, formative assessments, thinking dispositions, and more. The book includes more than a dozen thinking routines that teachers can put into practice in their classrooms immediately in order to foster deep learning. As a classroom teacher, the explanation and examples of both new and (a few) familiar thinking routines are a highlight.

This is an invaluable resource! I highly recommend it to teachers, administrators, and educators.
