Oh Nigel Marven is back at it. This one is very similar to the Chased By Dinosaurs videos with the exception that he’s creating a zoo of prehistoric creatures. Due to when this was produced, the effects are not terrible, but not great. There is a mix of CGI, puppet and animatronics. From a parent perspective, it is definitely not meant for a kid who is afraid of ‘dangerous’ or stressful situations. Also not for those who are intent on realism is fantasy shows.

My kid is 12 and understands that this is completely fictitious but he still gets a kick out of the different situations and some of the silliness that happens when you try to go in the past through a time portal and bring back dinosaurs.

AWESOME!! After just 1 episode it was added to my list of 3 favorite films. It was a bit expensive but totally worth it. Even though I’m a creationist, this documentary had enough epic scenes and real facts to where the evolution stuff didn’t matter. I love Dino series like this that use fun, fictional dramas to educate and inform. Nigel Marven is funny and entertaining, and I LOVE his Dino series. ITV is crazy if they don’t make another Prehistoric Park season or some similar Dino series with Nigel Marven soon. Really soon. Like, they made this Prehistoric Kingdom video game based on the park series recently, so why can’t they make a second season?
