I've had bleached hair for 15 years and this is hands down the strongest toner I've ever used. Lifts the colour in under a minute on my hair and being a toning mask, it doesn't leave hair feeling crispy in the way that many toning shampoos do

Minimal result, nothing like the review photos. Very disappointed. Followed instructions and kept product on for 10 minutes. I have better results with the Fanola shampoo.

I am in the process of figuring out what works for growing my hair out, now that I have a lot of grey. I don’t want to bleach my hair anymore than I have to, as I have had it completely fried in the recent past. My roots are maybe two inches long now and the rest of my hair is a rose gold-ish blonde. It gets brassy and I usually just tone it with Wella T-18 toner. Then I saw the purple hair mask on Amazon. I have used it 3 times now and it does remove some of the brassiness from the colored part of my hair. The more blonde streaks in my hair took to the mask beautifully! My roots are almost a lavender color. But it looks almost natural. I love it. I will definitely continue to use this while I grow my hair out and even after it’s grown out.

OK so a week ago I was going to a wedding and in typical last minute fashion coloured my own hair with igora royal blonde 10.0 and 12.1 and 30 vol peroxide, anyone who knows colours will know they are warm high life colours I didn't have a toner so just had to live with the result which was unfortunately an orange tint and some brassiness I was gutted and wish so much I had this mask then but tonight I put it on, first for 5mins at the root as thats where my main colour problems are, it didn't do alot so as per instruction I doubled the time and I can safely say I'm glad I did it has made an immense difference it toned the red tones down so much and removed a fair bit of brassiness I would need another few treatments between shampoos but I'm delighted with my results so far, im so glad I didn't use a toner now as this is far less harsh on your hair.

I need to point out that my hair is fine and the endings are overprocessed from all the bleaching I have done to it to achieve silver/grey hair in the last few years.
I love having silver/grey hair even though it can be so bad for me, but I cannot help it.
Recently I have tried doing my hair only every 4-6 months to minimize the damage, but it does take at least one strong bleaching hair dye (my hair is resistant now even though it's not that dark) and a few toning to get the desired colour.
I checked different types of toners and the one I used to use, failed me (probably was a fake item as I got it online) and got my hair to be honey colour, so I decided to try this hair mask as it does have pretty good reviews.
To start with the smell is really nice - a bit herbal-like, but it is expected from a vegan product. It is really highly pigmented so I didn't have to use a lot of it to catch to my hair, but it is very important to wash your hair beforehand with a cleaning shampoo (or just a clear one) at least one time if not 2 times. Then dry it a bit with a towel but not completely and put the gloves on as otherwise, you will end up with blue/purple hands. If for any reason it will happen anyway (cause you lost gloves or the break), you can always use a drop of bleach to clear it off - at least I do that and it is all good.
I hold the mask on the first time for 10 minutes as I was worried my ends will end up blue or purple, which happened in the past - preferred to be safe than sorry.
My endings are beautiful silver colour but the part the other tonner messed up is still a bit honey colour, but that is not the fault of this hair mask.
I am confident once I will wash out the other tonner (or do a slight lightening), the hair will look as I want it. I feel that even though it is almost £20 for the mask, it is worth it as you don't have to use so much of it to apply on hair, so it should last for a while.

I had great hopes for this mask! Unfortunately it did nothing for my hair! (My ends are a level 10 and are now blue as the mask is blue NOT purple!) I usually use jerome Russel Bblonde silver toner and it works amazingly and at a fraction of a cost compared to this! I left the mask on my hair for around 30 minutes because I do have some darker blonde patches from previous brown dye but the virgin bleached hair (roots) that is a level 9 didn't get any less yellow/brassy! I also had to condition after using as my hair felt dry! Don't waste your money, try the toner I suggested above and save yourself disappointment and money!
*Edit to add I was refunded instantly by B.U as it states in the leaflet once I contacted them to say I wasn't happy so very pleased with the company itself!

So trust me when I say I have tried sooo many hair products in my time that have been a disappointment. THIS product is amazing, totally transforms lacklustre, brassy, blonde hair to shiny & healthy. I have balayage ash blonde hair atm and this stuff is incredible. I’ve had many compliments after using this. Also if you want that cool blonde look like you’ve just had a toner at the hairdresser the leave this in for 5/10 mins. Bloody good stuff! But it💅🏻💫

Have tried out lots of blonde toners with mix results. This one you can’t go wrong, if you tone too early or you hair is too porous you will get a purple result. Don’t panic wash out with a cleansing shampoo, if not to hand washing up liquid does the job! Then just start again but mix with a regular conditioning to dilute. Keep an eye on it as timing will vary from person to person and depends on the results you want.
Great at toning really helps condition the hair.
Compared to other toners you get loads for your money, it’s in a great container which means you can use every drop and makes mixing with a standard condition super easy.

ive used this product once since i bought it and i saw immediate results. my hair has extreme bleach damage on the ends and faded pink dye in places but mostly its brassy yellowy blonde. after using the hair mask just once and leaving on damp hair for 5 mins as instructed, the majority of my hair is now a healthy silver, a shade that ive been trying to get for the better part of 6 years now. Ive tried almost every other cheap toner and purple shampoo out there but this is the best one by far. 100% recommended.

Usualy my hair would feel rough and dry with new products especially without using my usual conditioner but this mask has left my hair feeling soft, smooth and conditioned without using any other conditioning product. I tried the first time for 5 mijutes only as it suggested a short time for your first try. I set a timer for 7 minutes so I had time to applyx rub in thoroughly and then let sit for 5 minutes. Next time I will try for a couple of minutes longer. My hair was bleached 4 months ago and now has a darker root. I have taken before and after photos and its amazing how you can see a difference after just 5 minutes! Magic! This is so much better than other toners, I have tried Schwartz, fudge and another i forgot the name of and this is by far the best, quicker results for sure. I have given 4 stars for smell, it is a nice smell it just isnt as strong as my usual. Thank you!

So after years and years of bottle dying my greying hair dark I decided it was time to start going light with the hope that the grey would blend in and need less maintenance. Three rounds of bleach highlight and it was lighter but also very brassy and yellow. As a last resort before whacking another brown on I bought this toner. Washed my hair with bleach London shampoo then applied the mask as instructed, left on for 20 mins and what a difference! All the yellow has gone and the colour looks much more textured and subtle. I think this will work really well to help blend my greys through.

I like this product a lot.

I have thick hair, natural blonde with some highlights...I am prone to yellowing of hair. I usually go to the salon to get a toner put on my hair. Due to lockdown, I was looking for a product that would be salon quality.

This is a very good product. Be aware - it IS VERY PIGMENTED. It almost looks like you're colouring your hair blue....could get a bit messy...so wear the gloves that are provided !!!!!

I left this mask on for 5 minutes, as I was worried it would seriously turn my hair blue!! It did not...It knocked out all the brassiness, left my hair feeling and smelling great!!!!

But seriously.....it could get messy....have an old towel to hand you do not wish to worry about getting stained..... and comb your hair before you apply for even coverage.

Happy with my purchase will buy again - yes it is worth the money!!!
