Very unusual "psychics as weapons" storyline where those with natural abilities are sort out for experiments with an enhansing drug that keeps failing.
Its a great idea and well researched though the storyline and editing is a little confusing. I'm left not knowing who's the new character as they are introduced.
Acting is top notch. Effects good. Photography really assists the drive of the story. But the choice of music and its placement is jarring and gets in the way.
Thr documentary in the bonus section is an intertesting source for research.

I also didnt realise I was getting the French version of the film. This meant that not only I had to seek out the original dialogue track but the subtitles were in French for the non-English languages throughout the film. These couldnt be switched off.

Fantasy adventure story set on Earth. Some humans have developed various physic powers including telekinesiss and the abilty tp push others to believe what they are told. Governments throughout the Earth are all trying to increase the abilties of these people but they die when given the trial drugs. One young woman survives the injection but escapes. She is pursued accross the globe but aided by other physics she manages to .......... escape. Non serious movie starts in the past when the films hero? escapes as his fat her is killed. Left wide open for a follow on movie, which I hope will get made.

No idea why this wasn't successful in the cinemas. It's not Shakespeare but it's a clever enjoyable movie with engaging acting. I was particularly fond of the relationship between Evans and Fanning. The idea is cool and the execution was interesting if you tend to overthink things this is not the movie for you but what are you doing watching a movie about people who can predict the future and move stuff with their minds for then. A very enjoyable afternoon's entertainment, glad I bought it.

I'd seen the snippets via Youtube and decided to purchase the DVD. Dakota Fanning is an amazing actress, I really liked her character, Chris Evans is good too. Djimon Housou who plays the 'baddie' is great and he comes across as very intense. I love the location and overall cinematography. I enjoyed the plot and the ending, I know a few people have stated that it's a cop out ending, but I like how it's left the option for a second movie, maybe a prequel?
