日本語版より輸入盤が安いので、英語が「微妙に」できる人はどちらを購入するべきか迷うと思います。私もその一人ですが、結論として日本語版で正解でした。

Disk1は、1986年7月12日のライブが収録されています。歌詞には字幕は付いていませんので、日本語訳を見ながらライブを観たい人はご注意を。歌詞対訳の小冊子は入っていますが、これを手元で読みながらライブを見るのは無理でしょう(笑)。字幕箇所は、フレディのMC3分程度と、ブライアンのMC数秒です。これを英語で乗り切れる人なら、Disk1は大丈夫です。

問題はDisk2で、7月11日のライブと、4人の当時のインタビューまとめ12分、ブライアンとロジャーの演奏インタビュー25分、リハーサル数曲です。ライブのMCはDisk1より少し多めです。インタビューまとめは1人あたり2,3分と思えば、気合いで乗り切れるかもしれませんが、字幕があった方が安心です。そして最大の英語の山、ブライアンとロジャーの演奏インタビューは、内容の濃い話で面白く、英語が「微妙に」できる人だと字幕なしは厳しいと思います。リハーサルは演奏のみで字幕箇所はありません。

字幕の要否ばかり書き連ねてしまいましたが、ライブ演奏は12日、11日とも素晴らしいです。雨ゆえのハプニング(？)のあった11日の方が面白いかもしれません。4人それぞれすごい技術なのですが、私は特にロジャーのコーラスに感動しました。フレディはライブだと高音をセーブしますが、その代わりロジャーが全力で高音を張っているんですね。これはもうツインボーカルと言っても過言ではないのではないかと。ロジャーのハーモニーによってフレディの歌の厚みが倍増しているんだなと、このライブを見てしみじみ思いました。

I just got this having had the Budapest show from the same tour for some time. The Budapest show is less well known, but so much more energy onstage. The Wembley show is a great addition to the collection, but the band seem tired and Freddie has sounded better. The Budapest show is superior in every way, everyone is firing on all cylinders.

DISK２枚組で１枚目がメインのライブです。２枚目にはその前日のライブ（別アングル）とメンバーのインタビューとリハーサル隠し撮りが収録されています。
充実の内容です。ケースの写真もカッコいい。5.1CH対応なので、音にも迫力があります。
いつ観てもフレディ・マーキュリーは圧倒的です。７万人の観客を１曲目から総立ちにさせるパワー全開のライブです。
当時、解散の噂が現地であったようで、それについての言及するシーンが序盤にあります。字幕があるので、自然にライブに入っていけます。
ブライアンのプレイも良く撮れており、ギター愛好の方には非常に参考になると思います。
フレディの声量と動きから伝わってくる迫力は期待を裏切らないと思います。頭からの湯気は発散中のフレディのパワーなのでしょう、最高です。
真に盛り上げる、数万人を率いていくロックヴォーカリストとはこういう人のことなのでしょう。
座ったままでは観ていられない、いつの間にか立って拳を突き上げて歌っているかも。

Concert gigantesque de Queen en 1986, une tournée monstrueuse, dans un coffret 2 DVD: le concert du 12 juillet (DVD1) et le concert du 11 juillet + interview et répétitions (DVD2). Ca commence en fanfare sur One Vision et ça ne s'arrête +! Face à un public en folie, les tubes s'enchaînent sans aucun temps mort. Deacon, May et Taylor assurent fabuleusement mais le Roi de la Fête, c'est bien Mercury. Impossible à stopper, il arpente la scène d'un bout à l'autre, harangue la foule qui chavire et la fait chanter à l'unisson. Quelle voix magique et quelle présence! Difficile de trouver des équivalents aujourd'hui...Bien sûr, on est dans le royaume de la démesure et de l'exubérance, le retour final de Mercury avec cape en fourrure et couronne le prouve. Mais après tout, c'est aussi pour ça qu'on les aime! Le groupe sait en plus ménager une partie acoustique magnifique, unplugged avant l'heure (dont Is this the world we created? sublime) et quelques reprises de rocks bien envoyés (Tutti Frutti, clin d'oeil à Little Richard, showman de la même trempe que Freddie). Et ces hymnes dont Queen a le secret! Rares sont les groupes capables d'écrire des titres qu'un stade entier peut reprendre du début à la fin, un frisson vous parcourt en entendant Bohemian Rhapsody, We will rock you ou We are the champions. J'aurais vraiment voulu être à Wembley ce soir-là et j'envie les heureux spectateurs. Quand on pense qu'il s'agissait de la dernière tournée de Mercury, on a du mal à y croire. Le son comme l'image sont d'une qualité parfaite. On tient là un des meilleurs concerts des années 80 et de rock en général. Même si l'on n'est pas fan absolu de Queen, il faut voir ce concert pour comprendre la puissance de leur musique.
