5.0 out of 5 starsGood headset for zoom meetings
Reviewed in Australia on 6 December 2020
I got these purely for zoom meetings for work. I just wanted a headset with a mic that didn't look too much like a hardcore gaming headset. I got them during the black friday sale, so for the price I paid these were perfect.

My colleagues say my voice is crystal clear. The sound is fine for meetings. It's not as comfy as my pair of Bose QC35s, I feel the quality of the ead pads aren't as soft, but for the price it's still amazing.

One thing to consider is the mic is a bendable arm so you can't just swivel the mic away entirely like other headsets. This wasn't really an issue for me as having the mic arm always there didn't bother me and I didn't really notice it, it's pretty thin. In fact for me it was a feature because my voice was a bit loud (even though I dialled it down in the software settings) and I fixed it by moving the mic slightly further away from my mouth. If the mic arm was fixed I couldn't have done this, so it was a lucky feature for me.

2.0 out of 5 starsWould of been a great product if the headset was more durable... be warned.
Reviewed in Australia on 13 April 2021
I've been using the headset for the past 3 months now. Was happy with the mic and sound quality. It was a bit uncomfortable to wear at first but you get used to it.

One day when adjusting my headset, the side where you adjust the length of the headset snapped. I didn't even apply any strong pressure on it. Was super disappointed. Time to find a more durable headset.

1.0 out of 5 stars Broke within less than a year of normal use, company refuses to cover under warranty
Reviewed in Australia on 15 January 2022

When I first purchased this headset I was a little underwhelmed at the quality relative to the price, but was ultimately satisfied. After half a year, the top covering began to come away, exposing the foam. I ignored this, as it didn't affect the functioning of the headset itself, annoying as it was. However, within less than a year of using this headset, the connection between the right earcup and the main headset broke.

The company website will claim that these headphones have a two year warranty. This, however, is misleading, as any physical damage to the speaker will be assessed as "customer caused."

Be warned that the physical quality of the headset itself is very poor. I did not mistreat the headset in any way, and the only reason I can think as to why the right earcup suddenly snapped (while sitting on my head) is that it is not actually designed to allow you to adjust the length of the earcups, and that doing so will cause stress to build up over time.

I purchased this item at a significant discount, and I still feel ripped off. If you absolutely have to buy this product, please do not do so at full price.

1.0 out of 5 stars Brittle and broke in less than a year
Reviewed in Australia on 18 January 2022

It had a good microphone and a decent sound quality. I loved using it for my Zoom calls.

However the durability is very poor. The foam padding started showing up within 6 months and cracks in the headband soon after.

The band snapped in half within the next month and it's completely unusable.

2.0 out of 5 stars Good for gaming until it breaks (early)
Reviewed in Australia on 25 November 2021

Good sound and comfort for gaming, but alas, it broke in 2 places after 3 months - the side of the headband is cracked and about to snap (like many others have observed), and the padding on the top of the headband has detached from the trim. It’s no longer useable and we will request a refund.

1.0 out of 5 stars Okay until it breaks

This headset was great until it eventually broke like other reviews have said. Now I'm in the position to buy another headset, I wish I had just forked out the money initially and invested in a more durable product as the build quality on these are terrible.

Bought 2x pairs for my kids (12 and 10) in Jan 21 and both love them however 1x pair lasted approx. 6 months before the head strap broke and both pairs the foam is coming out on the ear cups so quality sound but poor build quality to only last that long.

Good sound and mic quality for a cheap headset, but the headband broke after 3 months of careful everyday use. Never even left my desk, never mishandled.

Don't waste your money.

I'm gonna be completely honest, this headset sucks. It may be different for you but personally this is not a good purchase. Before I state why I don't like this and wouldn't recommend it, I should probably tell you the good things about it. First of all the build quality is great, it's mainly plastic but feels sturdy, the soft earcups are probably the best part of this headset and I think that it also has memory foam which could explain why it's so comfy. The mic isn't detachable or retractable which is kind of annoying since it means you can't really use it as just a pair of headphones in public since it would look a little ridiculous, but the overall build of the mic is decent and can be adjusted quite well. Now onto the main negatives, firstly the damn thing literally broke my audio drivers, after plugging it in for the first time my pc detected it as a seperate device which is great and normal however after installing Razer's software which enables the surround sound functionality I realized that the audio was quite attrocious even without enabling the surround sound, so I thought that there must be something wrong with my audio drivers and decided to reinstall them which was a BIG mistake, doing this basically broke my audio drivers entirely and now all devices are detected as one device which is speakers. Sure it didn't directly break my drivers but it played a role, and since the headset wasn't being recognised as a seperate device it meant that the surround sound no longer worked either. Safe to say that my experience with these have put me off Razer products and I decided to send them back and get a pair of Logitech's instead which had no issues and works like a charm.

TLDR: Decent build quality, but has terrible sound quality (even the stock pair of earphones that came with my phone sounded better), and finally it has awful software

2.0 out of 5 stars Broken band on top after 14 months
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 March 2022
Verified Purchase
Starting like 3 or 4 months in after I bought them, I started receiving complaints on discord about static noise coming from me, and it would go away as soon as I would touch the 3.5mm to splitter connection.
Now after 14 months, the band on top at left edge of RAZER imprint broke. Got in touch with amazon costumer support and they game me all the info to contact razer costumer support. Filled out the form and when to click send it would tell me the error of "Network error". Tried all day long yesterday and today and nothing.

Overall, the noise cancellation is ok, the sound quality is good (sound being a bit too high, had to lower computer sound to like 40% ), microphone sound quality is great (until it starts with static).
