5.0 out of 5 starsGood headset for zoom meetings
Reviewed in Australia on 6 December 2020
I got these purely for zoom meetings for work. I just wanted a headset with a mic that didn't look too much like a hardcore gaming headset. I got them during the black friday sale, so for the price I paid these were perfect.

My colleagues say my voice is crystal clear. The sound is fine for meetings. It's not as comfy as my pair of Bose QC35s, I feel the quality of the ead pads aren't as soft, but for the price it's still amazing.

One thing to consider is the mic is a bendable arm so you can't just swivel the mic away entirely like other headsets. This wasn't really an issue for me as having the mic arm always there didn't bother me and I didn't really notice it, it's pretty thin. In fact for me it was a feature because my voice was a bit loud (even though I dialled it down in the software settings) and I fixed it by moving the mic slightly further away from my mouth. If the mic arm was fixed I couldn't have done this, so it was a lucky feature for me.

2.0 out of 5 starsWould of been a great product if the headset was more durable... be warned.
Reviewed in Australia on 13 April 2021
I've been using the headset for the past 3 months now. Was happy with the mic and sound quality. It was a bit uncomfortable to wear at first but you get used to it.

One day when adjusting my headset, the side where you adjust the length of the headset snapped. I didn't even apply any strong pressure on it. Was super disappointed. Time to find a more durable headset.

2.0 out of 5 stars Headband snapped - Disappointed by a lack of durability
Reviewed in Australia on 5 March 2021

I was able to use these headphones for 3 months before the plastic band cracked through above the left ear, meaning the headphones can no longer sit on the head. Very disappointed with the lack of durability from what I thought was a quality product from a quality brand.

However, I was impressed by the sound quality and comfort offered by these headphones before they snapped and were no longer usable.

2.0 out of 5 stars Decent sound, Not durable.
Reviewed in Australia on 27 October 2021
Verified Purchase
At first impressions, this pair of headphones seemed like it was a great value, the sound quality was pretty decent for it's price - it's a bit bass heavy, but it is clear. And it fit's comfortably on your ears. The 7.1 surround sound is not obviously true surround sound but it is software simulated, without it turned on, the headphones lacks depth, it's better to leave it on. The microphone quality is okay and clear for gaming, not the best.

However, after 7 months of general use (which Razer Support calls this "wear and tear & abuse" - which will not be covered) the headband seemed to crack slightly, 2 months after that it finally snapped, leaving it really uncomfortable and hard to use. I would not recommend this product to anyone who uses it correctly.

1.0 out of 5 stars Right ear half the volume, Mic is super quiet, Feels like it's gonna break.
Reviewed in Australia on 11 August 2021

I will give this headset one thing, it's earcups are very comfortable and are very nice when I have my glasses on.
However, the microphone while it is good quality is very quiet to the point where it has to be boosted in software significantly, the right ear is significantly quieter while that can be balanced to a degree in windows it makes the "surround sound" feature useless, and on top of that the plastic it's built out of it very cheap feeling and feels like it's about to break every time I take it on or off.
Bought this while I wait for my mic to RMA, but please don't buy this, you will be wasting your money.

3.0 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for.

For its price, it’s just okay. (Got it one sale for $55.)
Pros: light, decent sound, decent mic
Cons: if the volume is too high, there is constant static, ears cups do NOT swivel to fit to head, cheap plastic so less durable, small ear cups, price should always be less than $50 by default.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lightweight & comfortable gaming headset
Reviewed in Australia on 16 August 2021

These gaming headphones do exactly as advertised. Lightweight & comfortable meaning ear fatigue doesn't impact the user even after extended use. Sound quality is pretty good for the price and the microphone works pretty well. A great headset for the price.

Bought 2x pairs for my kids (12 and 10) in Jan 21 and both love them however 1x pair lasted approx. 6 months before the head strap broke and both pairs the foam is coming out on the ear cups so quality sound but poor build quality to only last that long.

2.0 out of 5 stars ***REVISED REVIEW*** After 4 months of use, the head strap has snapped
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 September 2020

My original review is below, and what i say in it still stands, the sound and quality feel of these headphones is very good... however... it seems their durability isn't... the headband has snapped after only four months right at the center point. This means the headphones don't sit tightly on my head anymore and sound quality is lost.
I therefore change this review from a 5 star to a 2 star... for the money these should last a lot longer...

I bought these headphones after having a generic gaming headset for a couple years... I really wish I had gotten these sooner. The sound is awesome, deep base, crisp vocals and everything in-between. The ear pads are soft to wear and block out background noise really well. My friends on discord say my mic sounds a lot better too. The synthesized 7.1 surround is great in games too, made playing destiny 2 a whole lot better.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not that great
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 April 2020

I hated this headset so much, First of all its really uncomfortable after an hour of wearing it, it was causing me to have breakouts in my skin around my ears and my neck maybe an allergic reaction to the horrible material on the ear cuffs, The mic is crap everyone was complaining about how quiet i am so i had to turn everything up full. the mic has to be basically in your mouth to pic up sound its the worst headset i've owned. which is sad because every other Razer product ive owned has been great. I have recently replaced this headset with the HyperX cloud II which are amazing and well worth spending the extra money on.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good headphones

These are really good quality, some of the negative reviews dont match up to the product so here's my scoop:

You can move the mic up and down and in toward your face and away, its very flexible.

They are incredibly comfortable, I wear glasses and they are lovely. The ear pieces don't rotate like someone said so the glasses tunnel is where it needs to be

If you press the mute/unmute button the mic works.

It is very clear audio especially in party chat on xbox.

There appears to be some Interference for other people when I talk, but thats not an issue for me, cos I cant hear it.
