Just ok for 4A hair

Works ok on my Afro 4A hair. I have an electric hot comb that works much better at straightening my hair though. I use that first to get the straightness that i want and then use this to finish it off. This by itself would not really work, unless I spent hours dividing my hair into tiny sections which kind of defeats the point of buying a wide plate straightener.

My GHD died so I tried another highly recommended brand called SAS which was fabulous. When this died, I thought I'd try another one and did some research where I discovered this Remington straightener got rave reviews. And I honestly have no idea why. Whilst it does straighten hair somewhat, it certainly isn't the sleek straight that you will get with a GHD/SAS/Cloud9 straightener. If you're looking for more body, then this is probably fine for you, but I like my hair pin straight and this straightener doesn't come close.
*Note: I have thick, wavy, long hair.

The media could not be loaded.

it did not work at all. we could never get it turned on after received it.
Such a waste of time, reading the instruction several times to ensure that we followed it fully for such a simple tool, now we have to go into the hassle of returning it.
We shop from amazon, however this one was total disappointment.

I will write another review after seeing how amazon is going to handle the return and refund.

I would not recommend this product.

Plates don’t align

I would not have this straightener if it was for free. When the plates were clamped together they were touching at the top and you could see daylight at the bottom. Doesn’t effectively straighten hair unfortunately.

Remington Wet to Dry was better hair straightener
