My GHD died so I tried another highly recommended brand called SAS which was fabulous. When this died, I thought I'd try another one and did some research where I discovered this Remington straightener got rave reviews. And I honestly have no idea why. Whilst it does straighten hair somewhat, it certainly isn't the sleek straight that you will get with a GHD/SAS/Cloud9 straightener. If you're looking for more body, then this is probably fine for you, but I like my hair pin straight and this straightener doesn't come close.
*Note: I have thick, wavy, long hair.
