This is a gritty depiction of war in the modern era, documented from the enlisted soldiers point of view.

Finally a version in English

Like the fact that you can get the audio in 5.1 English with no subtitles, the Italian version was covered in unremovable subtitles, why no UK release?
The Book War By Sebastian Junger covers the same people and events in more detail, and is excellent

This documentary was simply amazing and I would recommend everyone to buy it and watch it. It covers the men of Battle Company 2nd of the 503rd Infantry Regiment 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team, who have been stationed in Afghanistan’s deadly Korangal Valley. It follows their deployment there, their time together and day to day life between the men, in what is considered the most dangerous real estate in the world. Definitely worth a watch, to see what these brave men go through to protect the USA.

Reviewed in Germany on 15 April 2014Verified Purchase

Reviewed in Spain on 12 February 2014Verified Purchase
