Fun colors, but no traction

Bought these for my 10 yr old - he loves the colors and they look fun. In fact, his friends started getting them because they're inexpensive and come in lots of color options. They are a bit on the heavier side but not uncomfortable. The biggest issue is that there is absolutely no traction or grip on them. So running (especially indoors like on a basketball court) is not practical - lots of slips! For fashion or light workouts, these are great (especially for the price). But I wouldn't recommend for running or heavy workouts.

They’re not terrible they do the job. The first day or two they had to be broken in. It felt like I was walking on gravel. After a few days they were good. I would recommend sizing up a whole size. You get what you pay for.
