Really good product, versatile use when playing with my toddler. Sadly, we were missing the horseshoe magnet so lacking some additional play usage with only the stick magnet.

I’m a big fan of the Learning Resources brand, which you can always depend on for high quality, educational products. And this “MathLink” kit is an excellent example of a first rate STEM activity.

The set comprises 100 MathLink cubes in 10 different colors. These are sturdy and well made and are easy to manipulate and fit together.

It comes with a comprehensive activity guide that sets 10 building challenges, ranging from very simple to fairly complex. Along with each challenge, there are questions to get children thinking about basic maths concepts such as symmetry, sequencing, perspective, patterns, etc.

The target age group for this product is 5+. However, children at the lower end of this range would definitely need help in reading and understanding the challenges. So be prepared, as a parent, to get involved!
