Savage (RUTHLESS KINGS MC™ LA GRANGE CHAPTER (A RUTHLESS UNDERWORLD NOVEL) Book 2) Kindle Edition
Problem is, this isn't me.
I don't chase.
I don't pursue.
But I can't help myself.
Eden is stubborn.
The toughest woman I know.
My mistake was letting myself have a taste.
It wasn't enough.
I'm breaking my own rules.
I don't care how complicated it is.
But the complications keep coming...
Eden's club is in peril, and she needs my help.
If I do that, I might just earn her trust.
But it's dangerous.
This will either be a one way trip to hell...or Paradise.

What I liked about it was after reading Triplets Rise I was really looking forward to seeing Savage and Eden finally get together. It was building up to be a really hot and powerful book. While some of that was in there it wasn't how I imagined it going, so I guess that left me a little disappointed. Eden is such a strong female lead and she seemed so tough and smart in Triplet's Rise, she seemed to lose some of her wits in Savage. I was glad to see her gentle a few times when it called for but the rest of the time she was the same tough bad***. She seemed to forget her smarts but maybe it was just the stress of being the Pres. I had hoped Savage would be more forceful with her because that's who he is and what she really wants. I thought he would let her know how it was going to be early on, but he held back not wanting to not step on the new Pres's toes. I get it but I would have liked it more the other way.
Now the biggest problem with this book was the consistency errors between the two books. In Triplet's Rise Eden gets with Chief when she returns to LA Grange hoping she can move on from Savage. But in the Savage book, the character's name is Justice. Zeke and Eli's personalities don't change but their descriptions do. In Triplet's Rise after her fight, Eli is described as the one with the long hair when he uses one of his hair ties to roll up her winnings. In Savage, Zeke says he grew his hair out so he wouldn't seem like an Eli clone. If I hadn't read these books back to back maybe I wouldn't notice and it really doesn't take away from the story it's just frustrating.
All that aside the book was enjoyable and if you're a fan of the series you won't want to miss it. I'm hoping Zeke and Eli will pop back up with the baker's daughter. So we'll see where that goes.
Eden is now the president of the club just like she always wanted. But things aren't easy, her club accepts her but it seems most MC's don't. She's fighting for a place in their world and being sabotaged at every turn. On top of that, she has no idea what to do about Savage. She can't forget she killed his brother or the night they spent with Savage. She can't be weak now though she has to stay strong for her club.
Savage wants Eden as he has never wanted anything before. The problem is she's keeping him at arm's length and not telling him what happened with his brother. He knows all about it, he should want revenge on her, but knowing Walton he deserved what he got and if she hadn't ended him he would have ended her.
All of their personal issues must be pushed aside because a threat is deep within the club and if they don't figure it out soon there may not be a club left.
Can Eden figure out who is behind all the sabotage in the Ruthless Kings and will she give Savage a real chance and be happy?
I'm loving this La Grange chapter. Savage kicks off where Triplets Rise left us.
Savage has shown to the clubhouse looking for club president Eden. The woman who not only recently killed his brother but also the woman he can't forget after one H.O.T hook up.
Eden has no idea what to think about Savage's arrival. Does he feel the same connection and burning chemistry or is he there to avenge the death of his brother?
A a new female club president Eden has A LOT on her plate. Many around her are unhappy about her new role and she needs to work out who she can trust in order to keep herself and club brothers and sisters alive.
This was such a ride! Riddled with action, suspense, steam, banter, humour, angst, and some serious push and pull between Savage and Eden this book had me hooked.
The interwoven stories playing out in the background have me nervous and so damn excited for what's to come. Bring on more La Grange I'm already hooked on these characters.

In the club the Prez finds herself second guessing on her leadership skills and happiness. Also her enemies are plaguing her door, trying to take her leadership from her.
There’s becomes a closeness between Savage and Eden but still a real feeling is not shared and secrets are kept, so a large feeling of mistrust is felt always.
As the story continues there’s twists and turns and unexpected surprises that keeps the plot to a most satisfactory ending.
I enjoyed the writing and the storyline, the characters were also very entertaining
and made the book complete.
Another thing was the running all the time, stupid. She does not know how to run a MC. This whole book drove me nuts.
And Savage was more of a stalker than anything. He has no money apparently and no job and it felt like he was looking for anyone strong with money. Also I felt no connection what so ever between the two. And with the kink thing, to each his own. Get the spankings and stuff but he slapped her in the face, really. She should have laid him out for that one.
At the end with her starting the fight I felt like music should have been playing. So ridiculous that part.
It was almost like Ms. Salvage didn't even write this crap.. I felt no connection between the 2 ever.
