I enjoyed this 2 book series, but what I didn't enjoy is that you have to jump through hoops to be able to download the extended story. Between clicking on Book Funnel and creating a password, going back and forwards to email, then to the Play Store to download ePUB which my device tells me I can't open until I close all of my other apps. Forget that. The extended story is so not worth the trouble! Why do authors do this?? If it's part of the story, then include it in the book! If this is Ms Fox's MO with her other books, then she's just lost a reader. Can you tell I'm frustrated?! I'm can't be bothered leaving a book review now.

When I selected this book I had no idea of what it may be. I rarely do outside if mystery and murder yarns. This sort of embraces something if everything. Plus if you don't know how to make love with a woman you certainly will when you read this. Everything but pictures. Only more so.

I really wanted to love this book but Olivia was such a let down. She had absolutely no back bone. And despite Alexs treating her like garbage she ran back to him every time it was nauseating. Overall, a fairly good read but if you enjoy mafia books with an FMC who gives as good as she gets this isn’t for you.

Book one is about Olivia being abducted and forced to marry Aleks a Bratva Don being investigated by the FBI for kidnapping and abusing underage girls. Book two starts with Olivia running away from her husband and straight to her family who are being manipulated by the true villain. Aleks has been after Donald Hargrove for years trying to pin together the evidence of him being a sexual predator. Even though all the evidence starts to point out Aleks and Olivia’s family are fraying at the seams thinking she has been brainwashed by Aleks. This story has a great ending and I have thoroughly enjoyed the read. Highly recommend this duet.

From the very start it held you captive you just want to keep turning the pages to find out what happens

Poor Olivia just wants a simple, quiet life with no hassle or drama.. the one time she decides to take a risk & live a little she ends up having her whole life turned upside down and falling for the one guy she should stay away from

Alek’s is Don of the Bratva he has no time for love, relationships, he needs to clear his name after the FBI are closing in on his Bratva for crimes he didn’t commit. Olivia is a means to an end she is his bargaining chip to control the other players in the game what he didn’t expect was for Olivia to come out of her shell, to be someone who will fight back and become as loyal as his loyal soldiers.

This book had so many twist and turns you just didn’t know what was going to happen next.
