Can they resist falling for one another in paradise?
Marketing manager Henley Evans barely has time for herself, let alone family, friends, or dating. But when she's shortlisted for her dream promotion, the sacrifices finally seem worth it.
If only Graeme Crawford-Collins, the remote social media manager/bane of her existence, wasn't also up for the position. Although they've never met in person, their epic email battles are the stuff of office legend.
The task: draft a proposal on how to boost bookings in the Galápagos.
The catch? They have to go on a company cruise...together.
But when they meet on the ship, Henley is shocked to discover that the real Graeme is nothing like she imagined - and the line between loathing and liking is thinner than a postcard.
With her career dreams in sight and a growing attraction to the competition, Henley begins questioning her life choices. Because what's the point of working all the time if you never actually live?

From the start when we’re told that both the main character Henley and her sister Walsh were named after the drummer and the guitarist in The Eagles, I fell in love with this story. Henley Evans is a marketing manager at a global adventure cruise line and has developed a hate/hate relationship with their social media manager. Graham. When both Henley and Graham apply for the same role within their company and they are told they must both go on a cruise and pitch a new project to the boss, lots of laughter ensues.
This one had major Unhoneymooners vibes about it and I adored it. While the holiday adventure aspect was pretty similar the characters and their circumstances were different enough that I didn’t think it was a direct comparison.
I adored the banter and the flirtatious chemistry between Henley and Graham and the side characters of Walsh and Henley’s co-workers made the sub plots of this one really enjoyable.
I was blown away that this is Angie’s debut novel. Her writing would never give it away, she had fantastic, likeable characters with a great, easy to enjoy story line and I will absolutely be following her work.
OH MY GOSH, THIS BOOK! UN-PUT-DOWN-ABLE! This was such a fun, sweet, wholesome romance, and a perfect start to my holiday. It’s been a long time since a book brought me such joy!
Henley is a great heroine. She’s smart, kind (too kind!), and determined. She’s got big dreams and is not afraid to give her all to reach them, which is why she is also hesitant to admit her feelings for Graeme. And Graeme, oh Graeme! It’s clear from the start that he’s smitten with Henley and he’ll do pretty much anything to be with her. He’s sweet, kind, protective, sexy, emotional - a dreamy book boyfriend! Their romance is a slow-burn, but when they finally get together… it’s pure magic!
And don’t let me start on the whole scenery! It’s just ENCHANTING. I absolutely want to go to Galapagos now!
In conclusion: just read this book and then re-read it, and then gift it to anyone you love, because it’s amazing and everyone should read it!
