The so called “Snyder Cut” is almost a completely different film compared to “Justice League” as released by DC/Warner Bros in 2017. Yes it’s very long but if superhero films are your thing this is right up your alley. All character arcs are fleshed out and you can actually understand the story now. The 2 Blu-ray set also includes the “Road To Justice” behind the scenes documentary as a bonus feature.

With such a tremendous amount of content, this should have been offered as a two parter as per the Avengers end game. As usual, Warners dropped the ball with the first shameful screen offering. Anyone who saw that travesty and then watches this will shake their head as to what could have been. Again, no thanks to Warners that the Snyder cut has been released, they did the level best to make sure nobody saw this. A not perfect, but truly awesome offering

Whats the point of 4k and on a huge tv watching it 4:3 ratio? That just spoiled the movie on a big screen. The 4k is not worth it. Disappointing.

Despite an exceeding grim atmosphere- Justice League: the Snyder Cut delivered everything the first release lacked. The plot finally made complete sense, all the characters had their star moments, you really felt the sense of loss of Superman and his explosive return to full power and they ended up working together as a formidable team and, together, stared down Darkseid. Joss Whedon should be strung up by his testicles along with those Warner executives who have constantly interferred with the stories Zack Snyder has tried to tell. Whedon-"the Human Thumb" cut Ray Fishers' Cyborg role down to nothing (supports the allegations of racism and mistreatment Fisher has gone public with against Whedon and Warner). DC exec turds wanted Marvel movies; Batman making awkward jokes and the Flash trying to be the "jokey guy"- all that Whedon crap plus the Superman CGI'd upper lip has been tossed onto the waste heap of history. This is a DC movie and it stands on their own. Clocking in at 4 hours is a long time to sit in a theatre but to be fair this was supposed to have been 2 movies, not one. It's too bad we won't see the rest of the ideas Zack had planned for DC though there are some hints that upcoming releases may have some elements from Snyder's vision intertwined (Aquaman 2, the Flash-Flashpoint).

The movie is great. I was surprised to see there wasn't a 4K option. Also, be aware, all that is in this set is 2 blu-ray discs. No internal booklet. No digital copy. No DVD. No special features. Nothing else besides 2 blu-ray discs, the case & the outer jacket sleeve insert. I didn't read close enough & didn't realize there wasn't a digital copy included.

Realized a few days later that a 4K version was just made available that will be released September 7th & is available for pre-order.
