Product description

From the Publisher

Author Charlie N. Holmberg’s books are magic, and her latest is no different. Weaving together mystery, romance, sorcery, and petticoats, Holmberg continues to prove she’s a master at her craft.

Elsie Camden is a spellbreaker—she can see magical patterns and pull them apart like yarn, dissolving the spell. But in her world, to be a spellbreaker without a license is a crime. All she wants is to use her secret abilities to pursue justice against those who would exploit the powerless. But when a handsome stranger discovers her talent, the two grow ever closer, and everything Elsie thought she knew is turned on its head.

Once again, Wall Street Journal bestselling author Charlie Holmberg has created a whole new world we can dream of traveling to from the comfort of our favorite reading chair. So put some tea on, and let Holmberg spin you a tale of an enchanted Victorian England where a young woman is only just discovering how powerful she can be. This is one book whose spell you won’t want to break.

- Adrienne Procaccini, Editor
