I love that they build up side characters but still manage to focus on the family. Looking forward to the next volume.

I enjoyed it, but I don’t quite know why.

Just finished reading volume 1 to volume 7 of this series over two days after
watching the first episode of the anime. I don't know for who this set in an
alternate world 1950's Cold War spy/thriller is for. The main characters are late
20's but then have a cute six year old daughter... so I can't see a late teen having
the same connection to the spy going through all the trouble to ditch a tail just to
boast about his daughters minor gym performance. Where I know I have bugged
my friends and family about the random activities my current seven year old
daughter got up to.
It's not very deep, not very wide, and if I had to read it at a month chapter rate
not very fast paced. But I liked it.
We are seven volumes in, so much of the world hasn't been touched on. We have
two secret research subjects (one who can read minds, one who can see the
future) but no hint of others. There is a big bad looming but we haven't seen any
great evil out of him, or even barely more then the way his second child seeks to
escape a shadow. The loyal-to-evil and therefore evil brother will have to be
resolved one day, but at the way the story is paced I can see that either being a
three volume arc or just never addressed before the series ends.
I liked this, I will read more. I cannot promise others that you would like this, as I
can't really pin down in my own mind why I like it.

Los capítulos son algo random pero crean oportunidad para desarrollar a distintos personajes, además están igual de divertidos, aunque prefiero en los que Anya está en la escuela jajaja
