I honestly don't understand the hype for this series. I read the first book and got halfway through the second before quitting. The character development is weak and I really didn't form an attachment to either Audrey Rose or Thomas. The plot was fast-paced to be sure, but lacking in any depth. Seriously not worth the time.

The characters are likeable but they are flawed. One moment you may be upset with the main character and the next moment, you are worried for the main character. There is young love, controversy, adventure, horror and laughs and all of it is mixed with history. What more can an author provide the reader. Thank you Kerri!
