Great cable at a great price

How can a manufacturer / supplier sell this quality of connector cable at this price. Item looks well made with good materials and fits firmly into sockets when plugged in. Very good item for the price paid, I now only buy this type of cable from StarTech and have about 8 and have used them for well over a year without any problems at all. Would highly recommend these items.

It is a cable. It is a very thin cable. I mean... It works, but I suspect this will last all of a week, and I wouldn't trust it to anything where good sound is necessary. That being said... It was only £2.27, so I wasn't exactly expecting much.

For listening to music in your pocket I find this cable is perfect. I was a bit annoyed when the cable failed after a few months. Then I realized there was no better alternative so I bought several more. It is still good value. I have already had one further failure so I would only buy it if you are prepared to replace it from time to time.

I also find this cable necessary for playing music from my phone on the car radio.

Not really satisfied with this product, I'm more disappointed. The sound quality isn't good at all and tends to break up, this can be due to the size of the wire but still this should be included in the description.

I bought this for use with my Oculus Quest 2. The jacks don't fit in the 3.5mm connection in the Quest, nor will it fit in the 2 headsets I tried it with. Badly designed product.

I wanted this cable to use with my Nexus 4 phone that has an official cover - the straight end of the jack fits but the L-shape end does not fit with the Nexus cover in place.

I already have a straight cable so this has been a wasted purchase though other phone/covers may not have the same issue but the angle of the aux socket in my car and where my phone sits would benefit from the L-shape end going in to the phone. Otherwise a fairly decent cable!

At the time of purchase this wire worked fine, how though it is loose and requires jiggling to get both ears to work.
For the price I am not disappointed though, I did get many hours of use out of it by that point.

I bought this for my car as I was using a long headphone cable that I had to wrap around the gear stick to shorten. This one is the perfect lengthfor use in the car. No crackles or twisting to get the right sound. Good for the car butnote this is not the right length for headphone use though - if this is your reason for buying.
