Does not fit 2-inch Olympic Barbell

Beware and avoid. Seller sent 1-inch barbell collars instead of 2-inch collars, ad advertised. When I sent an inquiry, they said there was no problem and actually said I needed to check them again. Sorry folks, but you know the drill, either the collars fit or they don't. If you're ordering these, you're a weight lifter familiar with the equipment. Either the clips fit because they're the right size, or they do not. This is a scam. Notice the picture attached, the gap is only 1-inch in diameter. No way this fits 2-inch Olympic barbells.

I have rheumatoid arthritis. I LOVE fitness and weightlifting. The clips at our gym have to be squeezed which is extremely painful for me. My husband got me a pair of these and it has made my workouts so much easier. I LOVE them and the pink just tops it all off.

Excellent clamps. Good price too. Finding clamps in our gym is a nightmare. They are never near the bar, and these are much better than the spring clips. No slipping on heavy lifts or when the bar falls.
Having our own has been the best. We saw a guy with lime green ones, we talked to him and we bought them that night. The following week another guy had the blue ones. It’s like a chain reaction. Simple solution to a frustrating problem in the gym. Bright colors means no one will confuse that these do not belong to the gym.
I would love these in machined aluminum though.

These work great. I did read a lot of bad reviews about them not holding but I've had zero issues and they lock tight onto my barbell. I'm not doing any CrossFit where I'm slamming my loaded barbell down from overhead so maybe people might have issues with that. I've done many sets of squats with 265 and nothing came close to slipping. Deadlift are the same no issues. Again not slamming my weights down in a crazy way. I will probably buy another set for when I get another bar and rack. By far the best clips/clamps I've every used as far as ease and look cool as well.

Good for a home gym

I got a home gym setup finished right before Corona lockdowns and bought these for my safety clips. I actually never knew that there was a lever you were supposed to depress to unlatch the clips until I bought these new (when these are used in commercial gyms they're ruined pretty quick and everyone just pops that large paddle to take them off). For a home gym setup where only I or a few friends use the equipment it has held up well for over 3 months with no sign of unusual wear. I can squat 405 without plates shifting on me (like at my local commercial gym) and my plates don't walk on deadlifts either.

Bad color

I am very picky about color and I bought these because the green looked so pretty in the pictures. Well in person it’s just a typical dull lime color. I wish merchants would stop photoshopping their items so the color looks better in the picture. It’s false advertising. Otherwise they seem pretty standard, but I’m returning them and can’t really comment on how durable they are.

These clips work for all kinds of lifts at all kinds of weight. They are SO MUCH FASTER for loading and swapping weight within a quick-change WOD than traditional clips. My husband and I use them DAILY, and we have yet to experience ANY slippage, twisting, etc. I would buy them again and again. I especially love the bright color!!

I have been very happy with these barbell clips! My gym has the spring clips, which are stretched out and not doing their intended job. I have been using my new Olympic weight bar clips for a week now and couldn't be happier. I am so glad that they come with their own bag to keep them contained in my gym bag. These are built well enough for the price. They feel solid and have a good lock mechanism.They do work, and have held up nicely, but they slip over time. If you’re looking for something to really lock plates down, spend a little more.
