Beware and avoid. Seller sent 1-inch barbell collars instead of 2-inch collars, ad advertised. When I sent an inquiry, they said there was no problem and actually said I needed to check them again. Sorry folks, but you know the drill, either the collars fit or they don't. If you're ordering these, you're a weight lifter familiar with the equipment. Either the clips fit because they're the right size, or they do not. This is a scam. Notice the picture attached, the gap is only 1-inch in diameter. No way this fits 2-inch Olympic barbells.

Good for a home gym

I got a home gym setup finished right before Corona lockdowns and bought these for my safety clips. I actually never knew that there was a lever you were supposed to depress to unlatch the clips until I bought these new (when these are used in commercial gyms they're ruined pretty quick and everyone just pops that large paddle to take them off). For a home gym setup where only I or a few friends use the equipment it has held up well for over 3 months with no sign of unusual wear. I can squat 405 without plates shifting on me (like at my local commercial gym) and my plates don't walk on deadlifts either.

built very poor...will take all the strength you got just to close and open them while maybe shaving a knuckle off in the process lol i would suggest paying up got the lockjaws...WAY BETTER

I would've given this product 4 stars, but one of the clips didn't work when it arrived. I couldn't get it to clamp down and when I compared it to the other three, I noticed the part you push that clamps it into place was put together upside down. I had to take it apart and fix it myself which was pretty easy to do with just a phillips head screwdriver, but it's the point and it's why they only get 2 stars from me.

Perfect for the home gym. I bought the same clamps 5 months ago and have had no problems on my 2” Olympic bars. I only lift under 200 since there is no need for me to max out anymore. Would gladly buy another pair if needed.

After a few uses, they get loose. They don't hold the weight on the bar. I have to use my old squeeze clamps along with these to keep the weight on the dumbells.

These are great Olympic weight clips. They are snug on the bar and they do their job. They keep the weight from moving. There is no clanking of weights and so far they are durable. Perfect for what my family needs them for.
