Zipper alert!

In most respects the pants are great. BUT -- the zippers for both side pockets have tight tiny stitches across them, about 3" from the zippers' end. These keep the zippers from fully opening. I reluctantly accepted I'd have to be careful putting my hands in easily, when I looked closely to see the issue. Even using seam rippers, my wife and I couldn't help but damage the pockets' edges. My wife said some women's products have stitches across zippers to help hold item in place for shipping or display, but these are hardly "temporary." Again, the pants are otherwise fine, but be warned what to expect.

My husband really like these especially when he’s outdoors. He does a lot of metal detecting in fields and was getting bit up. They are a great weight and really good in a very light rain. I bought him 2 pairs. Will probably buy a couple more. He highly recommends them.

Pants run large

The pants seem to run large, surprisingly, both in waist and length. I made them work incl having the wife hemming them up about 5 inches. I am a 36 waist 30-31 length. Should have order L not XL.

The zipper pocket is half sewn over? On both sides. One side it zippered to the stitched portion the other is open and not zipped allowing items to potentially fall through.
