1. Very Easy to pair and control

2. You can control plug via app, create a scene (schedule recurring activity), timing/schedule based control.

3. Very nice app, easy to pair, control, easy to tag devices and group them by rooms. Never expected a such a good app for a little known brand, but it is very useful and a MAJOR PLUS point for me to use.

4. Bought it for $32/pair which is as good as it gets

5. The seller sent an email, backing their product and offering full support in case of any issues - Always makes the product so much more better when seller reaches out to you to ensure everything's ok.

Definitely recommend it, bought 2 earlier, followed by 4 more, very happy with the purchase.

Not useful unless you want to remove all security from your wi-fi

I use timed-access with MAC addresses for added security with my WPA2 wifi. But, the instructions on these indicated that I needed to remove that and any security requiring a passcode to be able to connect these to my wifi. So, I gave them to a friend to use. And I don't think he was even able to get them up and running. So, complete waste of time and money.

I used two of these power points to set up my lamp and kettle as smart devices.

[Note that the devices essentially equate to turning off the power at the power point so the kettle needs to already have the on button on the kettle itself already pressed for "turn on the kettle" to actually boil water when the power activates.

Same with my lamp, it is always on but the power point is on/off based on commands to this power adapter.]

It has whet my appetite to have more smart devices to join to my Echo Dot.

Setup is easy but read the instructions. I needed a third-party app to set up the WiFi connection for these devices, I could not do it through the Alexa app on its own. Other than that little hiccup (user error) it's worked perfectly.

And great price point.
Recommended.

It only took me a couple minutes to get it to work. You plug it in, push the power button, and make sure the light is on. Then download the app and you're good to go. I bought this before a family vacation. It allowed me to turn on/off the lights when we weren't home. I also used it for my slow cooker. I work full time and some days I barely have time to cook dinner. After I got this smart plug, I can turn on the slow cooker at 2pm so when I get home the food is perfect to eat. A must have item! Highly recommended!

I have heard from my friend that the smart socket is very helpful to the daily life, so I decided to give this a try. This one works well and I find it is really useful if your small appliance doesn't have a timer or the timer doesn't work properly. I also believe it is helpful to control the lights in your children's bedroom so they can sleep on time.

Confusing but does the job

I bought this product because i wanted to connect my essential oil diffuser to my amazon Alexa. At first it was confusing, difficult and frustrating process to set up, the set up took me upwards of 45 minutes. Although i got there and and was relatively pleased with the functionality and end result. The plugs were able to plug in next to each other on the same set. A bad thing i found, was that that you are not able to easily connect the plugs to a routine on amazon Alexa, although this fault can be resolved through making the desired function an ifttt command.

- Automated schedule works well and the smart life app does it's job
- Couldn't set up via auto scan but manual scan is easy enough. *Note, ensure 2.4Ghz wifi. Telstra Smart Modem Gen 2 automatically has band steering, so disable to be able to manually select the 2.4 GHz only band

I was a little concerned prior to purchasing the smart plugs as I've never heard of the brand "Topersun". That said, I decided to try it as the price tag was a lot lower than its more well known competitors. Out of the box, the plugs appeared alright. Unfortunately I found the instructions to be poorly written with glaring omissions of some key steps. After some fiddling around I was able to get both my plugs to be online, and subsequently connected to my Alexa. Once online they seem to work perfectly.....well so far so good anyway!

"These Smart Plugs work extremely well. I hesitated to purchase them because most of my devices are controlled by SmartThings, and I did not want to add another app to my iPhone. Since I could control these plugs with Alexa, I decided to try them out. The setup was very easy and once the plugs were connected to my wifi and then linked to the Alexa app, I was able to control the devices that I plugged into these outlets very easily and without any problems. Moreover, with Alexa and the Smart Life app, I am able to turn off a device temporarily (i.e. 20 minutes), and once the desired time has past, that device will turn itself back on. I think it's a great option/feature to have."

This Smart Socket Switch is of exceptional value. Compared to the Australian market for these type of products, being able to purchase two for this price is definitely worth the value.

The product's set up was a breeze, and with a steady internet connection there will be little to no issues with its performance. Although the external installation of an application is required this is really not an issue at all. The application will show the consumer how to link the Smart Socket Switch to any smart device you wish. I personally have mine paired to my Alexa and I have not had any issues in the voice commands.

Although, it should be noted that the attachment is a bit sturdy and may disallow multiple connections on different outlets.

The product's manual is extremely user friendly and easy to follow, the consumer will have no issue comprehending and following instructions.

I would certainly purchase these products again and will highly recommend others to do the same.
