So close. Yet so far.

This product has it all. As a product solely on it's own, it was easy to connect, simple to set up, and works flawlessly with Google Assistant.

Pros:
* Easy to set up.
* Linking was simple with the Google Home app.
* Convenient on/off switch that's easy to manually control.

Cons:
* Bulky.
* You cannot reset the useage counters without fully removing and adding the device again if you want to test another appliance.
* Did I mention bulky?
* No memory when changing power points.

A few things that would make this device amazing:
1. If you can reset the counters/info via the app.
2. It had a memory module of sorts that stored information (such as Wi-Fi etc)
3. Dual usage timezones rates (to work out cost effectively)

It works as intended and would highly recommend for the right price (<$30).

Handy little product but if you have two power points you will loose access to one of the outlets as the plug ‘real estate’ is larger than I thought when looking at the pictures of it online

Have you ever been relaxing at night and then hear a faint, very high pitched electronic hum? I remember the first time this happened to me, it was a $5 USB phone charger I'd bought from a petrol station. Well, lesson learnt I thought to myself as I chucked it.

Unfortunately this TP-Link HS110 emits the same sort of extremely irritating high pitched electrical whine. I noticed it immediately after plugging it in and isolated the problem to the lights, as the sound changed in harmony with the flashing of the setup lights. Perturbed, I continued the setup (easy enough, TP-Link's apps are excellent) and hoped that once the lights were solid green the noise would go away. No such luck.

In summary, if this plug is going to be anywhere near your ears and you have decent hearing, it's not worth owning. A real shame because it seemed like such a bargain compared to the other offerings on the market at time of writing.

Integrates with Google Home easily enough, and performs as I would expect any smart switch to perform. However the energy monitoring feature is complete rubbish. It worked for literally four days, before now reporting that our 2,000W panel heater is averaging 21,474 kWh/day. Complete garbage. Would not purchase again.

Die Steckdosen lassen sich einfach in's Netzwerk einbinden und über die Homebridge läuft es auch mit der Apple Home App.

An sich ein gutes Produkt...

ABER:

Die Steckdose schaltet sich alle 20 Minuten sporadisch an/aus. Innerhalb von einer Sekunde schaltet sie sich dann auch wieder ein. Ich habe es mal beobachtet und es scheint an der WLAN Verbindung zu liegen.. Alles in einem macht es das Produkt absolut unbrauchbar..

Wir haben mit dieser Steckdose unser TV-Equipment täglich von der Stromversorgung getrennt. Auf der Steckdose steht, sie könne bis 16 Ampere schalten. Bei uns wurden nicht einmal 3 Ampere geschalten. Trotzdem klebt das Relais nach etwa 14 Monaten, sprich es öffnet nicht mehr korrekt. Ein Relais mit guten (zB. versilberten) Kontakten hätte halt einen Euro mehr gekostet. Vielleicht entdecke ich noch, wie ich das Teil öffnen kann, ohne zu beschädigen, dann kann ich vielleicht das Relais ersetzen, denn ansonsten hat es die 14 Monate problemfrei funktioniert und mir den Stromverbrauch super dokumentiert.

Habe die Steckdose gekauft allerdings nur am Anfang für eine Woche benutzt.

Nun wollte ich es heute wieder verbinden und stelle zu meinem Erschrecken fest, dass die App es nicht zulässt, dass ich mich manuell verbinde.

Es erzwingt die Freigabe des Standorts.
Was will Kasa/China (?) mit meinem Standort?

Wie sieht es hier mit Rückgaberecht aus!?
Durch Änderung solcher Funktionen ist aus meiner Sicht ein Vertragsbruch entstanden.

Mercedes verkauft auch keine Autos und sagt „du darfst es nur fahren wenn wir wissen wo du bist“.

Zwar kann man das Anlegen eines Kontos, wie immer bei einem chinesischen "Cloud-" Dienst, überspringen. Dennoch ist es notwendig, bei bestehender Internetverbindung (!) sein WLan-Passwort und Standort freizugeben. Bei bestehender WLan-Verbindung ohne Internet weigert sich die App, weiter zu machen. Warum? Wenn der Hersteller seinen Server abstellt, wird man die Dosen nicht mehr konfigurieren können.

Mein Heimnetzwerk bleibt unabhängig vom Internet, es gibt nur einzelne, bewusst und selbst eingerichtete Freigaben. Nur lokal genutzte Geräte und Apps haben keinen Internetzugang. Deshalb gehen die Dinger genau so zurück wie die anderen Modelle, die ich schon zuvor ausprobiert hatte. Bleibt wohl nur noch Zigbee...

Meine Bitte an Amazon wäre, nicht eigenständig nutzbare Waren zu kennzeichnen.

Ho comprato questo prodotto proprio perche' TP-Link e' un azienda di prodotti network e quindi pensavo fosse ben fatto. Invece non funziona il controllo remoto! Abbastanza inutile comprare un oggetto simile per controllarlo da casa a 5 metri di distanza, non mi serve mica un smart plug!

Dopo aver disinstallato l'app e essermi loggato con l'account la funzionalita' remoto funziona. Quindi assicuratevi che vi registrate prima di aggiungere i vari smart plug. Per il resto funziona benissimo

Es ist ein kostenloser Dienst erforderlich!

Dieser benötigt eine funktionierende Internetverbindung. LAN oder WLAN reicht nicht aus!

Der Cloudserver unterliegt nicht der DSGVO (ist in China).

Es werden personenbezogene Daten gesammelt. Dies kann nicht verhindert werden.

Eine lokale Nutzung im Heimnetzwerk (ohne Anbindung zum Internet) ist nicht möglich.

Geht somit direkt zurück.

Decisamente un pessimo prodotto, sarà un caso ma il mio HS110 v3.1 con firmware 1.5.4 (ultimo disponibile) dopo una settimana di utilizzo corretto, ha iniziato a SPEGNERE AUTOMATICAMENTE da solo la presa dopo qualche secondo che viene accesa (fisicamente dal bottone, da remoto da dentro l'app e da comando vocale con Alexa)...

Decisamente ASSURDO che cercando in rete si trovino post (in inglese) su forum UFFICIALE TP-LINK del medesimo problema dall'1 febbraio 2019 (siamo a Novembre) e non c'è nessuna spiegazione tecnica su come risolvere il problema se non sostituiamo l'articolo... E chi me lo garantisce che quello nuovo non faccia la stessa fine?!? Ripeto, ASSURDO!!

SCONSIGLIO VIVAMENTE l'acquisto perché non lo ritengo un problema ISOLATO, ma COMUNE a più persone dove la casa madre non presta opportuno supporto laddove ci sono EVIDENTI problemi software (e il firmware 1.5.4 era l'ultimo anche a febbraio quando è stato fatto presente il problema!! Assurdità totale!)

Comprate 3 prese, 2 su 3 buttate (casualmente entrambe quelle con monitoraggio energia... Per me è un prodotto veramente pessimo e mal riuscito..

Non so da dove provengono tutte queste recensioni positive, io questo articolo lo uso tutti i giorni e si rompe, statene certi...
