Loved this one! It picks up immediately after where we left off from logan/Lauren's book and they've just had what was supposed to be a 1 night stand. Matt realises very quickly he wants more and Chelsea isn't far behind him. Love how supportive matt was of her and everything she wanted to achieve, and he was so open about his feelings for her. Loved that there was no ow drama. My only niggle is that nearly all of the heroes in this series are manwh@res until they find or realise their feelings for the heroine and its getting a little tiresome. Even logans book made a point he hadn't slept with another woman then immediately followed it with "I won't lie I've fooled around"...as if everything but penetration is any less intimate 🙄 that's straight from the "its not cheating if its in another country" play book! Although I have to be clear we don't see any of that on the page, Matts reputation is mentioned repeatedly but it never comes into play between our couple apart from some insecurity for her early on.

I have to say Riley has her hands full redeeming Dylan. Honestly what he did was unforgiveable. He came across as a total douche in this book too, not only did he forget but unless its all talk he's clearly been putting himself about plenty since. I know riley has been known to hit us with a swerve making us think it's one thing when it's actually another, but from the end of this book it's pretty clear his heart belongs to another, someone Sawyer could never compete with. And honestly I'm already on the side of she deserves a hell of a lot better than him!

Oh boy oh boy Riley Edwards this is a good one! What a fantastic read, Chelsea and Matt are a glorious couple who you will absolutely love. It all started out as some fun with no strings but very quickly feelings and emotions got involved and two people from different worlds find themselves wanting strings.
I love how strong and independent Chelsea is, she’s fought so hard to prove herself especially to her family in a traditionally male dominated world, she is going after her dream and what she believes in. Both Matt and Chelsea have issues relating to their families, hers following a childhood filled with abuse and belittlement instead of love and Matt suddenly finds everything he believed about his father is an illusion. Chelsea desperately needs someone to believe in her, see her as enough and love her for who she is. Matt doesn’t do sleepovers or commitments as women only see him for what he has not who he is, can this pair find what they need in each other? They really are a perfect match, they are a team, they truly see each other and have each other’s back. Love Matt’s support of Chelsea, that he lets her be herself even when he wants to wrap her up in cotton wool.
Plenty of action, lots of emotion, lots of humour, the banter between Matt and Chelsea is hilarious and Balls Deep and jellybeans are lol inspired! This is definitely one of my favourite books from Riley Edwards and I so recommend you read it, I recommend you read them all!

Another me great instalment if the Triple Canopy series.

Chelsea is a badass cowboy riding the Rodeo Circuit to prove a point. She doesn’t allow herself to get attached for fear of being let down and hurt.
Matt is kicking his ass for going against every fibre of his being and allowing himself to fall for Chelsea. Then his world is tipped upside down.

I loved this story for the fact that Chelsea is actually a badass. She honestly appealed to me with everything. Matt was amazing. I loved his patience and his ability to call her on her avoidance of dealing with things.
I’ll be honest and the end was slightly underwhelming but to be honest to have the rest of that story I didn’t care.
It was amazing. Thanks Riley!

I love Matt and I am so glad he stays true to himself, his beliefs and his values, it would have been so easy to give in to the pressure, especially when he goes from having everything to having almost nothing. Almost nothing, because he will always have his brothers and the Triple Canopy family who will stop at nothing for one of their own. But TC cannot heal all wounds...Can Chelsea be his saviour?

Apart from his problems he has friends to help him: I found the book refreshing that two adults going into a relationship are open and honest a short time after their first sexual encounter, most books, the characters are never honest about what’s truly going on in their heads and pussy foot around, particularly the females, Thank goodness Matt knows what he wants when he finds it. I must go back and read book 1-4. After i read about Dylon. Highly recommend
