Paperback is tiny, not for littlees.

Should've read product specifications, but am also disappointed with how small the paperback is! It won't be something I can read to my little boy because the pictures are so small on the pages, such a shame when it was a childhood favourite of mine. Does not fully display Quentin Blake's memorable illustrations!

Very funny book, my 5 year-old laughed and laughed. We love Ronald Dahl but occasionally have to edit on the hoof when the characters are mean to each other. This one is about a crocodile who wants to eat children but actually is very light in tone. Recommended!

Great intro to Roald Dahl for a 3 year old

I bought this when my son's school (he's only in Nursery) had a Roald Dahl day and asked children to dress up. When I first read the book to him, I skipped some of the gory bits and to speed it up as it's longer than his usual bedtime books. He was thoroughly fascinated and loved being the Enormous Crocodile for school. He now "reads" it to us, remembering the majority of the points of the story so I've been really impressed with how it has captured his imagination.

Smaller than original book

Disappointed that this book is smaller than the original copy that we've had for the past twenty years. Obviously the story is the same but due to the size it's not so easy to share the pictures with a two year old.

Great, classic book but smaller than expected.

I can't not give a Royal Dahl book 5 stars but it's a lot smaller than I expected. Perhaps it says the dimensions and I didn't read properly. But it's about the size of a standard novel. I thought it'd be comic book sized for some reason.
