I was pleasantly surprised to find it full of behind the scenes tales of how the interviews were lined up, how the series produced, and insight into the author's line of questioning. This book is exceptional. Having watched the television series on which the book is based, I did not believe there was much more to tell. I was wrong. Sarah Ferguson's strength and courage as an interviewer are apparent in the TV series. The book gives additional depth to the reader and helps he or she understand the very dark art of contemporary political survival and success. Sarah and Patricia Drum have written a masterpiece. As a former journalist I am in awe of their work.

I've been interested in Australian politics since 2007. I never really had a grasp beyond sound bytes why the leadership ballots until now. It is very clear the Australian Labor Party did not vet Kevin Rudd for lack of management skills, nor be able to communicate a good narrative about its time in power until Sarah Ferguson stepped in OH about three to five years too late.
