Gripping miniseries about life (and shenanigans) on a whaling boat/expedition. Beautifully made by the director of "Weekend", "45 Years" and "Ammonite" (to name a few). You get a sense of being on a small ship, the bitter cold and what motivates these men to take dangerous journeys. Good performances too, Colin Farrell is excellent!
And filmed on location, so the viewer can almost feel the cold.
