Absolutely terrific just as I remember it from when it first appeared on television. My wife being English found it really good even though I was asked what is she saying and what does that mean so many times. Excellent
Bought this as a Christmas gift for my Aunt in Tasmania. She loved it and it brought back memories of going to the nearby Steamie with her Mother, my Grandmother!
5.0 out of 5 starsBrilliant film and shows how it was in Glasgow all those years ago -- actually its not that many years ago.

If you haven't seen this it is a must, especially if you come from Scotland and your family can remember the days of the "tenements" in Glasgow. Even if you are not Scottish this really is a great "watch" it is sad and it is funny and full of actors you will recognize from other TV shows. Easy watching if you want something to cheer you up.
