So far they’ve worked flawlessly. I bought one to try then followed up with another three. So far I’m happy. I have two in my dual zone Engel Fridge/Freezer. Works equally well in the freezer and the fridge compartment. The other one is in the built in fridge in the Mack truck I drive. The fourth is a spare at the moment.
I like having the widget the app provides on the home screen of my iPhone so I can keep an eye on the current temp of my fridge or freezer (several years ago I lost a weeks works of food when a fridge became unplugged in a truck I was driving).
It also makes setting the cooling temperature easier in an older Waeco portable fridge I have - it doesn’t have a digital readout and the temperature slide control is pretty temperamental. Getting real-time feedback on the internal temps takes the guesswork out and puts an end to frozen lettuce and ice cube fruit.
10 months later : Ended up with 5 of these units and all are still functioning. No issues, pretty happy with them.
