This was a great read that kept different turns coming constantly. A wild ride. Kept me guessing all the way.
Narration was awesome.

The steamy and intoxicating story of Laura and Massimo continues in this unputdownable sequel to the international bestseller 365 Days – the inspiration behind Netflix’s blockbuster movie.
When Laura was abducted by the powerful Mafia Don Massimo Torricelli, she never dreamed that she’d embark on a passionate affair with her menacing, seductive captor – much less fall in love with him.
Now her new life in Sicily seems picture-perfect, with a grand wedding, a devoted and devastatingly handsome husband, a baby on the way, and all the sumptuous glamour – servants, ritzy cars, seaside palazzos – she could ever desire. But there are cracks in this fairytale facade of luxe domestic bliss. Her only companions are bodyguards and crooks, and the threat of being kidnapped or assassinated dogs her every step. Worse, her best friend has blindly stumbled into the fray, becoming yet another target for rival mafiosos eager to topple Massimo’s criminal empire.
Surrounded by enemies and engulfed in her husband’s shadowy world of power, pleasure and peril, Laura is about to learn what it means to be married to the most dangerous man in Italy …
‘Lipin´ska spins a tantalising dark erotic romance between a volatile pair with this sequel to 365 Days ... Fast-paced, suspenseful and loaded with twists and turns, this edgy romance will entice fans enamored by complicated, dangerous heroes ... [An] addictive thrill ride.’ Publishers Weekly

About the Author
Blanka Lipinska is a #1 internationally bestselling author. Her 365 Days trilogy has been translated in thirty languages worldwide with over two million copies in print. She's an author out of desire rather than necessity and writes for fun instead of money. She loves tattoos, values truthfulness, and treasures altruism. Annoyed with the lack of openness about sex, she took it upon herself to start a discussion about the many sides of love. She likes to say that talking about sex is as easy as preparing dinner. Blanka was ranked as one of Poland's highest paid writers in 2019 by Wprost magazine. In 2020, the same magazine listed her as one of Poland's most influential women. The Polish National Library readership survey lists her in the top ten most popular authors in Poland and ForbesWomen magazine included her among the top female brands. Her bestselling novel 365 Days is the basis of one of 2020's most successful Netflix movies worldwide. The film has spent ten days as #1, the second highest in the chart's history. --This text refers to the paperback edition.

This book made.me hate Massimo and its such a shame because the film and the first book really made me like the characters.
Lazy writing the first 3/4 of the book was just a repetitive cycle of sex. I get its an erotic novel but the lack of storyline and single perspective made it dull very quickly.
You could see it coming that Laura would fall for someone else with being left constantly. The most interesting part was the end and that's where the storyline and the action came to life. But instead of her being in a gilded cage there could of been chapter's about Massimo and what he was dealing with in the family or at least give a bit of context around what he was doing that suggested he was lying to Laura or whether he was genuinely protecting her
Protagonist was really not very likeable neither of them were very well developed or grew as the story progressed. It really did feel like she was just a trophy wife and he took her out when he needed her and that was it. Didn't feel any love between them and as well I really don't understand how Laura could love him so much and have no idea who he was and they barely had any conversation between them.

4.5 stars. brillant mafia romance, made me laugh, made me angry, made me spoon.

This is a little review on both books.
This won’t make much sense. I kind of wrote things down as I read the books over the last two days.
I tried to block out the movie but it’s very difficult, well kind of impossible. So it’s kind on both.
The characters were spot on. Literally.
Laura (Anna) from the film is Laura from the book. Her character in the first book does not change. They are the same person. Whoever chose her to play Laura. Did an amazing job.
But In This Day at time I did find her to be a little bit annoying. She definitely comes across as a brat lol. Like she does everything in her power to piss Massimo off and that pissed me off lol. In This Day book they fight away, the back and forth is brilliant to read.
The man in black.. that’s what Laura calls Massimo (Michele)… I found that a bit strange while reading. The man in black lol.
Anyway I really really like Massimo, his character is the same as the film. Michele is the man from the book. He plays Massimo perfectly. They are the same person.
They got the casting so right. Is he a ruthless mafia Don who taken over from family. He has so many secrets.!! 😆 I can’t wait to watch them come to life. When I say secrets this man hasn’t told her anything really.
•Olga - the best friend. She is as brilliant in the book as the film. Her personality is the same. She is funny. She bring so many funny moments to the book, her and Laura together are like two teenagers on a night out. The sex talk is brilliant.
I won’t say anything about her plot but in This Day she has a very big role.
•I think the plot is great. It’s very fast paced, very sexy, felt real in parts but I think it would of been better if I could read it in the language it was first wrote in. Or read it before I watched the film.
The story and plot are there. It’s really a great mafia romance but what let it down for me was the first book, some of the words used and some parts that are written in polish didn’t come across well in English. There are some mistakes.
The reviews for both these books aren’t amazing and every review says the same thing. Editing is bad, translation is bad. And a lot say this is the most unreal story ever read. Well duh, it’s made up mafiaa lol. I believe most of them are from people who have never read mafia romance before? Or couldn’t look past the translation.
Maybe it was rushed because of the movie and it being so popular. I don’t know?.
•The timeline to this book to movie is a little off. The movie is definitely different but not in a bad way. It will never be the same, it’s not possible. In the movie they filled in a lot of parts. In the books there is so much sex.
Both book are as hot as the parts in the film are. The plane scene at the beginning of the film 365 is hot. The boat one not as much. The film was much better 😆. The bathroom scene is the same as the book. Everything was basically the same. They kept to the book.
This day was definitely better than 365 days IMO. I will say I didn’t notice many mistakes in This Day. Maybe I overlooked them. I don’t know but I really enjoy reading it. And now I’m more excited and more obsessed with the next film. If you haven’t read the books I would definitely recommend reading them.
There’s a lot of drugs, a lot of sex and many woman 😆 I hope it all comes to life on screen.
This is one hot story. Very frustrating story. The ending.!!!!?? ahhh Loved it. I hate cliffhangers but this one got me excited.!!!
I would 100% recommend reading This Day.! I loved it. 365 DAYS, I would only recommend reading the last two chapters if you watched the movie.

Not worth it

I was very disappointed with this book 2. I thought that you would get answers from the first book but no. This book is 7/10 sex don't get me wrong I like sex in books, but the actual story was not there, the Anna and the twin story was worth 5 or 6 lines in total, so you are left with more questions than answers. The story off Massimo and his business could have been explored a lot more. Any story the writer writes about she doesn't follow throw on, you are left with a sense of something wrong. The last part where there is a kidnappings, she starts to fall for the guy, really I don't think that would happen. The last pages where she get beaten and there was shots fired nothing was explained so once again you don't know what happened to the story, next the writer jumps to the lines that he has to decide who lives his child or his wife. Bearing in mind his child is only about 15 weeks which would not survive any way. It's very poorly written, I will get the 3rd book as she says it will be the best, let's hope that it is and she writes what happens in full. Not worth the money, the writer needs to learn what should go in a book to make the story.

As good as I had hoped it would be!

I am ashamed to say that I only discovered this author because of the hit film 365 Days, but WOW! I am so glad I did! I binged the first book in one day and just HAD to grab the second one immediately! I love the authors style and her Laura and Massimo dynamic hits perfectly for fans of the genre! It is HOT, fast paced and will keep you gripped until the end! My only frustration is that I cannot acquire the third book in English ANYWHERE! I’ve even tried the publisher directly. I do hope it will be available for fans soon! Thankyou for another great book! :)
