This is the second issue of Thor Ragnarok which has the 3D version as a stand alone, there are no bonus features or 2D version of the film included in this package. Docked a star as Disney continues releasing 3D titles in this bare bones format, it might be slightly more affordable but it means if I want the behind the scenes stuff I have to buy the non 3D edition of the film as well.
Finally a movie in the MCU that wears its comic book origins very firmly on its sleeve. Thor Ragnarok (or what Thor and Hulk did while Captain America and Iron Man were at war with each other) is a hoot, the lightest of the Marvel films so far and a showcase for the talents of messers Blanchett, Hemsworth and Hiddleston with an all too brief Tony Hopkins cameo. Dare I write it, this movie is actually trying to be fun and it mostly succeeds. The picture quality is amazing, as we’ve come to expect from Marvel, the sound bone rattling and the 3D effects are worth the extra coin. A genuine romp through the halls of Asgard, across the universe and possibly back to earth. Recommended.
