Let them nag elsewhere, this is one heck of a movie!

I am so tired of having one movie after another spoiled by lazy naysaysers critisizing each and evrything they can get their destructive little hands on like on Imdb. What was written about this movie, it's stupid story, incompetent acting, boring pacing and lame script I don't care anymore. I just watched the film and absolutely loved it. So did my entire family by the way. It's a great thriller that's well executed by the creator and producer of Yellowstone, Taylor Sheridan who I believe doesn't really need to be lectured about filmmaking by hordes of morons at this point. I can only recommend this smart film which reminded me of Joseph Kosinski's "Only The Brave" with a Die-Hard twist. And by the way: If I don't like a movie which is most of the time I have the common sense to just skip it and not drone about it on the internet because of course only my opinion is correct and everyone should know it. The quality of a movie is often subjective in terms of style and content and maybe all the haters are just incompatbile with what Taylor Sherdian tried to to with this movie. But that's not his fault you know! I LOVED the film and I'm darn happy it got made!

Great little thriller.

How on earth a reviewer could call this boring is beyond me. A great movie that had me rooting out loud for the good guys. Some great special effects added to a plot of totally ruthless killers had me gripped. The performances are spot on and the young boy was so touching as a child in peril it gave me goosebumps. The hitmen are absolutely vile and the way they start a forest fire on purpose had me absolutely fuming. A great effort and it has all the makings of a very worthwhile effort. Vile murders arson a boy and a woman who have to fight for their lives and to cap it off a raging fire all add up to an exciting experience and one I will be watching again.

Loved the premise, the characters and story were good. What can't we love about an Agelina Jolie movie, however it was never focused on her, the story was good and she was incredible in her emotional moments aswell as action sequences.
Believable and relatable characters throughout.

THOSE WHO WISH ME DEAD DVD
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 April 2022Verified Purchase
Over 200 reviews already so mine will probably disapear, but no one else seems to have mentioned the continual, frequent us of the "F" word. From the first scene and throughout the script is peppered with them. Swearing has become so common now, we take it for granted, and sometimes, yes, it does add to a dramatic scene.. Here it appears to me to be included purely for "reality" and spoils, for me, what is an excellent thriller. Hey! It's only 95 mins long...why aren't more films that length? This one moves like an express train (or a forest fire), with excellent performences from Jolie, Aiden Gillen and Nicholas Hoult as two cold blooded killers (they reminded me of Lee Marvin and Clu Gulager in "The Killers" utterly ruthless and cool with it). The forest fire scenes are very real and scary. There is a rather surprising explicit violent scene during the climax, but it is 15 cert and there is much much worse out there. I loved this film. Unpretentious good old thriller. Also I had forgotten how hot Ms Jolie is.
