Two cowboys walk onto a ranch. The girl falls for both. But they’re in love with each other, and she’s stuck in the friend zone. Sounds like a bad joke, right?
Welcome to my life...
But I think I was wrong; my two cowboys are just friends.
It’s been the three of us since the day we met. I’ve settled for friendship for over a decade, but I want more.
I’ve fantasized about getting between them, but they don’t think I’m that type of girl.
It’s about time these boys wake up and realize they’re in love with me.
And each other too.
Hold my beer while I sort this mess out.
Three of Us is a standalone book in the Pearce Station universe. You’ll meet new friends who become family and fall in love with Ally, Sam, and Craig.

About the author

By day Ann Grech used to live in the corporate world and could be found sitting behind a desk typing away at reports and papers or lecturing to a room full of students. She graduated with a PhD in 2016 and is now an over-qualified nerd. But the grind got old, and the voices got louder. She still has the librarian look nailed, but she’s a little freer to be herself now.
She’s never entirely fit in and loves escaping into a book—whether it’s reading or writing one. But she’s found her tribe and loves her book world family. She dislikes cooking, but loves eating, can’t figure out technology, but is addicted to it, and her guilty pleasure is Byron Bay Cookies. Oh and shoes. And lingerie. And maybe handbags too. Well, if we’re being honest, we’d probably have to add her library too given the state of her credit card every month (what can she say, she’s a bookworm at heart)!
In 2019 she was an Award-Winning Finalist in the Fiction: LGBTQ category of the 2019 Best Book Awards sponsored by American Book Fest for her story In Safe Arms.
She also publishes her raunchier short stories under her pen name, Olive Hiscock.

Ally , Craig and Sam know what they would like , but time and life got in the way .
Slow burn romance with me pushing them on but they took their time but eventually love blooms.
The back story is riveting written so very well .
While reading I could see all the places Ann was describing vividly a book to start and not to put down..
Sam Hayes and Craig Williams, two men who have been the best of friends since their childhood days. Men, who as teenage boys experienced their first taste of sexual awakening together. Men whose lives had been turned upside down when the Hayes farm had to be sold. Spending the past decade travelling from farm to farm, station to station, Sam and Craig have never been apart. Now they've found long term employment at Pearce Station ... a place that will change their lives forever. Ally Pearce, sister of Scottie from the original duet, brings about a change that neither man ever expected.
Two men who love each other deeply, yet fear, confusion and society have them denying their feelings toward one another, often causing heartache for both. When they meet Ally both feel a pull towards her, yet neither is willing to risk the friendship that the three of them have formed. Sexual tension is rife, miscommunication abounds, and emotions are put to the test. Will the secrets they hide, and the feelings they have destroy the friendship they have when everything is out in the open?
From the very beginning Ms Grech's words captivated me. They made me feel as though I was there, experiencing every emotion, sight and sound. THREE OF US is a MUST READ for those who love MM and MMF stories. It is truly Ann Grech's forte.
It may only be January, however I can honestly say this will definitely be one of my top reads for 2021.

The main character, Ally who is the station owner's daughter, falls for Craig and Sam who show up to work at the station. Craig and Sam are tight and have worked together all of their lives. This is a novel that takes place over many years; my only complaint with the novel as it seems someone would have stated their feelings, after all, that time.
"His smile set something alight in me, and I loved watching it break across his face."
"Joy and warmth and happiness all mixed together in one rainbow-fuelled flock of birds filled my belly.
In the saddle he was a drink of cool water, and I was thirsty as hell."
Nan is the elder at Pearce Station, and she brings wisdom and a certain acceptance to all who live and work there.
I spent time on a horse farm and this story brought back wonderful memories of my teenage years being around horses and mucking out stalls.

This story takes place over a LONG time. Like, years. Many frustrating years. The hardest part of this story is seeing how much time is lost because the characters are too afraid to accept who they are and what they want. However, once all the pieces come together it becomes a beautiful picture.
I like that while Sam and Craig have a long history together, Ally quickly becomes accepted into their friendship. It doesn’t become “The Sam and Craig Show with special guest Ally.” She becomes an equal part of the trio, before and after feelings are finally revealed.
Finally, the setting is beautiful. I don’t come across many stories set in the Australian Outback, but Ann makes it feel real and makes me long to see it for myself. I also really appreciate the addition of aboriginal characters and fleshing them out so they don’t seem like token elements.
I already have loaded up some more of Ann’s books to my kindle and I’m ready to dive into her lovely work again.
