Beware the loss of force-feedback.

This was a great wheel for about a year. Then it began to lose FFB after a lap or so of driving.

It seems to be a common fault with these - the unit seems to think it's too hot and reduces power.
The FFB doesn't return without recalibrating/resetting the motor using a service application which isn't publicly available but can be found on some forums if you search around for it (TXRW_CalibMotor_v3_00).

It's only a temporary fix, the problem returns immediately after.

Thrustmaster themselves won't acknowledge this issue but it's widespread and likely a result of poor or faulty components used in the PCB.

If you do have symptoms like this I advise contacting Thrustmaster and sending the unit back for repair whilst it's still within the 2 year warranty. I just ignored it until the wheel was unuseable and now I have a £230 paperweight.
Out-of-warranty repair charge is ~120 euro plus shipping.

There's nothing else belt-driven in this price bracket and they know it - It's a shame because if there was they might care a bit more. Given the poor reliability and lack of support received I won't be coming back to Thrustmaster wheels in a hurry.

This would be a five-star product if it wasn't for this issue.

Loved it, but only for 1 month...

After coming from a T150 this was a great upgrade. Much much better wheel base than the T150's and was very impressed with how much better it felt to use. It's much more immersive and the add-ons give it a nice range of customising potential.
However, I owned mine for a month and it started to develop a buzzing noise, didn't notice or worry about it too much as it wasn't affecting gameplay. But it gradually got louder to the point of being unbearable. Supposedly the PSU can go faulty and create this buzzing noise so that's what I assumed it was, but disappointed that this product had gone wrong after just over a month of use.
Currently in the process of returning it and getting a replacement, hopefully this one lasts this time, because I loved this base when it was running perfectly, just hope I don't encounter any other issues with the replacement.

To sum up, would 100% recommend this base, but beware that it could develop faults at anytime sadly. I guess I'm lucky it went wrong within the return policy period.

Disappointing

My son really enjoyed using this for the first few weeks of having this. However the power cord did not fit snuggly into the connection on the base and he has had trouble with it until it has obstructed his game play. Because there is no obvious way of getting in touch with thrust master we have had to order a new one from their website at a cost to us, not to mention their extortionate shipping costs. This has proved really frustrating after spending a lot of money on this product and had detracted from our satisfaction with this product. Poor service and a poor product. We see this is a regular problem with this product from other reviews so do beware

I've had a couple Tx base before and some are better than others, but this one in particular I've had no issues with it so far, I use it for F1 2021 and I would say don't use any more than 55 force feedback so it doesn't wear over time and probably drop rotation to 320-300 but it's just preference, keep up the good work Thrustmaster.

The media could not be loaded.

Plugged in my TX Servo Base within 30mins of it being delivered and I thought it was going to take off!

The noise it makes is just unbearable and so irritating that I have to have my headset turned up to full volume just to drown it out. It is unbelievably loud! I can’t use my wheel past 11pm because it keeps people in my household awake (although we have a larger house!)

If you don’t want to wake up the neighbours/kids then buy a Fanatec. Thrustmuster build quality is appalling.

I was also refused a replacement by Amazon. Wonderful.
