5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly what I was looking for.

My family of 5 recently vacationed in a remote beach location. There were no chair rentals and one out of the way beach shop, I did not want to pay $40 dollars per chair to purchase 5 chairs we would be leaving behind. Our VRBO had 1 rusty chair that we played musical chairs with.

I told myself that when I got home I would look into chairs that we could pack in our luggage. I was immediately overwhelmed by all of the options so I watched a bunch of YouTube videos and read a lot of reviews. I ordered multiple brands and versions of chairs thinking I would keep the ones that work and return anything I did not like. This was the cheapest chair I ordered and ended up being the best for what I needed.

My criteria was:
1. Compact and lightweight- small enough to fit into carry on luggage.
2.Good for beach and other destinations.
3. Inexpensive since I would be purchasing 5 of them.
4. Not to difficult to put together.

What I ended up with: I tried one higher back packable chair but that made the folded down dimensions too big. I tried a 2 pack of similar style chairs to these but they did not use the super lightweight mesh material these chairs have, making the others more bulky. I tried another brand that did not use the loops for pulling the tabs over the frame making it difficult to put together. The only other chair I kept was the Trekology yizi lite 750 chair as that met all criteria except the price was higher and being a little lower it packed down slightly smaller. The Trekology chair was in the $40’s and at 1/2 the price I actually think this chair will be better for the 3 taller teens and my husband. It sits low but not as low. I kept the Trekology for me since I am petite and ordered 3 more of this chair.

In conclusion, This chair was one of the smallest I found when packed up. It is breathable lightweight mesh that will be good for a variety of locations. It was really inexpensive at $20. It is pretty easy to put together. I included a photo of the chair packed in one of our personal sized carry on bags. Hopefully it will hold up!

The chair itself is well made. Good materials. Pockets are handy. Super small when folded.

Something about the mechanical design. The first time I sat in it, it and I, went down. Fortunetly, not too far to fall. Check the height. It is a low chair. It takes a little talent to get up. At a party, forget it. The second time sitting in it I was careful. When I reached for something, there we went again. The chair started to spin and in the process dug a hole in the ground. I'm sending the chair back.
