Great supporting chair

Love this product. I'm a bigger dude and it supports me just fine. If you want to see a review on youtube go to Kent Survial, long camp / kit review, he has one on there, also not a small lad. The weight of packing this seat for overnight walk in camp trips is not much to add to your kit at all. Having the back support from a chair on these trips has change the trips itself. Can sit quite low and so can sit in a tent on one.

Good chair with quality control issue

I bought two of these and I like them. There was a quality control issue with both chairs. The ends of the horizontal struts on both chairs were cut off sharp (fortunately the ends of the legs and seat support poles have smooth edges). On first disassembly while manipulating hubs on one chair the shock cord was cut through. Initially I blamed myself but on inspection saw that the ends were sharp on this tube for both chairs. I cut the the cord on the second chair deliberately and deburred the tube ends before replacing the shock cord with some 4mm shock cord from the hardware store. The original is 3mm but 4mm fits fine. You only need enough tension to locate the tubes as the hubs are forced together by the tension of the seat. I used sandpaper and a small grinding bit to deburr but it could be done with sandpaper alone.

The corner braces to support the legs - stitching fails

I purchased two of these in Feb 22 - only used them 4 times and on one of the chairs the corner braces which loop over the upper part of the chair's metal frame, the stitching has failed resulting in one of them where it now just pushes right through as in the picture. I only weigh 80kg so while these are highly portable I would not purchase as they are just not durable anough

What a brilliant concept! Although a little expensive for a camping chair (even with the Prime Day discount) I thought it a good buy for my son who has a new motor-home. The chair comes in a posh bag and is a most gorgeous shade of orange (his favourite colour). Sadly though, the material is impossible to fit over the frame (even after watching the assembly video); it is a good 2 inches too tight all round and, apart from sawing some metal off the legs, this chair is never going to function as a chair!

I bought two of these chairs along with the sand covers to take camping.

They are lightweight and comfortable but after just a few uses by people that are well below the weight limit one of the chairs broke when the fabric failed and the pole went through.

I have returned everything as I cannot trust that the other chair won't suffer the same fate.

I would not recommend this product to anyone.

This had great reviews and I bought it despite the steep price. However, I'm not sure where the good reviews come from, as I find the chair quite wobbly (and I'm only 52kg) and not deep enough to sit comfortably in it (I'm 5.3 inches) It's going back.

Received the chair on time, lightweight small package just what I was looking for. Assembled the chair which only took a few minutes . Sat on it and one of the components holding the legs cracked. I’m 12st 10 so not overweight , it seems to be a common fault with this chair . Not fit for purpose.Returned item with a full refund within hours .

Chairs mostly good. What isnt good is the fact that the chairs 'feet' fall off on first use. I only weigh 12 stone so its not a weight issue. once the feet got eaten by the ground, the leg without is like a spear into the ground and I just fall into the ground. If the buyer reads this please get in touch and send me some replacement feet for this chair, otherwise its compeltly useless after just one day of use.

Was thinking you get what you pay for but at £40 youd expect them to last longer that 2 night camping.

The plastic piece holding the aluminum rods broke on immediatly on both chairs I bought. Dont buy this except maby for kids under 10 years.

Really practical and comfortable, but lasted around 5 uses. The fabric tore when sitting down in the chair normally (not forcefully). I'm not a big bloke, around 11st. The corners should be made to a higher standard! Such a shame for what is otherwise a great product.

Sadly I bought this in February off Amazon and this weekend used it for the first time.
On the second day the internal string/elastic that holds it all together snapped. I can’t find a way to contact anyone as it’s past the return date but surely if it’s broken on first outing then it should be returned / replaced??
