5.0 out of 5 starsSolid Selfie
Reviewed in Australia on 25 April 2020
Its a solid selfie stick. Height is adjustable and you can clip it and lock it. Previous ones I had were twisty type and they used to be a pain. These guys have got it all correct.
Now being picky only thing that concerns me is the the phone holder part. It's compact you can pretty much fold but with all the good side of it it's a bit flimsy... works fine so far ..

1.0 out of 5 starsThis is not a selfie stick. Do not buy!
Reviewed in Australia on 26 November 2020
I don’t know how this product has so many positive reviews. I just received mine today. The only positive is that it’s a sturdy framed tripod, but that’s it. It’s a camera tri pod - not a selfie stick, it’s too massive and heavy to be a selfie stick. Also the blue tooth remote is flaky - it worked the first time I tried it and then I couldn’t get it working again after I turned it off (iPhone latest iOS) also there’s nowhere on the stick/tripod to secure or store the blue tooth remote so even if it did work you’d likely lose it after time.

3.0 out of 5 stars Average quality but functional
Reviewed in Australia on 30 July 2020

I bought this tripod to record my video blog. The height isn't quite high enough for me when standing, I'm 5'3. Also it's not particularly sturdy, especially when outdoors and when on non-flat surface. Next time I will buy a sturdier tripod which is suitable to use on slopes by having legs that can be independently changed with height.

The best thing about it is it's light and easy to carry with me when walking around.

3.0 out of 5 stars Easy to use, versatile but poor plastic base easily breaks

Bought this for our travel. good and versatile easy to use but unfortunately the plastic base is flimsy and easily breaks with minimal pressure, I have super glued and added my own plastic mould to fix this. You get what you paid for hopefully future versions have a metal base instead of plastic.

3.0 out of 5 stars Functional stick but not Heavy Duty Aluminum

The stick is functional but is not Heavy Duty Aluminum and does not stand straight. I attemted to straighten but stopped from fear of breaking it. So the phone pisition is not quick horizontal and not quite vertical. Video s on a slant. It is light weight. For the price, it is ok ... but if you want something that is a bit more robust pay more for another.

3.0 out of 5 stars WARNING - SHARP EDGES
Reviewed in Canada on 10 October 2019

I want to warm people immediately that the bottom of this stand is insanely sharp. I was trying to expand it and before I knew it I had a huge slice in my thumb that bled continually. Very dangerous for little ones. Don’t have it around where a toddler may be crawling/walking around.
I just got it today so my review is not based on long term quality but other than the thumb being sliced like a giant metal paper cut 😂 Id say it’s easy to use and seems very sturdy. I like it. Just please be careful around kids and warn your older kids that the bottom is very very sharp.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good but...
Reviewed in Canada on 8 June 2020

This thing is pretty sturdy! Holds my iphone quite well and what they don’t show well in the listing photos is the clamp you stretch open and place your phone into so it stays on pretty tight, and it also comes with a part for you to screw in an actual camera. I’m not sure how well the remote works because I didn’t buy this to take photos, I only got it so I have an actual way of propping my phone up to watch videos and movies while my hands are full as I’m crafting, the tripod has been doing a great job at that!

My only major complaints and why I took 2 stars off is because you can only rotate your camera/phone side to side (in a circle) but you can’t tilt it forwards or back which is actually REALLLLLY limiting for photography because precise and tight angles like that can really make or break a photo (especially if you don’t have great lighting available) and this is coming from experience.

Overall, this tripod seems to really only be good for selfies and other pictures for Instagram but not that useful for taking videos or for using bigger cameras on it (might be good for those smaller amateur cameras you’d bring to your family vacation or something). It’s sturdy and durable, but could be better.

3.0 out of 5 stars Essayer pour Cellulaire
Reviewed in Canada on 28 December 2020
Colour Name: selfie stick tripodVerified Purchase

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice tripod but no cover
Reviewed in Canada on 24 March 2022

The tripod is nice and sturdy. I hope it will last. I bought another one a while back from Ubeesize and the top broke off. This one looks different and much better. However giving a lower reciew because they did not give any cover or carry case which is odd.

3.0 out of 5 stars Adequate product, except remote is hit or miss.

The remote control is the big disappointment.

It sometimes delays or is completely unresponsive when clicking the shoot camera button. I lately had one issue where it wasn't working st all and tried turning on and off and repairing bluetooth to phone.

I can only really imagine if taking a distant (couple metres) whole body picture out in public where there's noise, that you hope the picture actually is taken. So, in quiet place it is okay to use.

It does the job well of having a tripod. But for a stick it becomes a little bulky to hold compared those standard sticks with the button presser built in.

3.0 out of 5 stars good for the first few weeks
Reviewed in Canada on 30 April 2021
Colour Name: selfie stick tripodVerified Purchase
I wish it was heavier so it would be more sturdier. They do have a few functions to make it sturdier, so thats good. Everything works. You can do portrait and landscape on it. The blue tooth device works, although it sometimes does bursts for no reason. The bluetooth device seems really cheap though, but at least it works? Hopefully there isnt battery in there and I can always use it lol.

EDIT: After a few weeks, the bluetooth control sometimes takes a few minutes before it starts working again. Recently, the device has stopped working, Im not sure what is wrong with it. also when you press the button, the blue light shows in photos sometimes. and if you dont have the device facing your phone, it wont take pictures. Other than the device, the stand is fine.
