Love this little dude. A monkey could install it, very intelligent design that uses gravity to lock your phone in, no clasps or grips to fiddle with, easy to take your phone out. Fits my Galaxy s9 with a thin case on, and leaves space for the charging cable, I expect it would fit larger phones too as long as the case isn't too thick.

Note that there isn't any manoeuvrability in terms of angle/height that you might get with phone stand that has an arm, and you won't be able to adjust the horizontal direction of that air vent, but i still find my phone perfectly visible and accessible without those adjustments

very pleased with the purchase. have used two other phone stands prior and this is my fav

Gravity is what holds this. Can slip.a.little of pho E on a cover bit actually better than I would have thought in terms of holding the phone.

Pros: we say to install and remove. Holds the phone sturdily 99% of the time.
Cons: can't use it on portrait mode (horizontally) and takes the vent mostly out of action as a vent. Eg air flow.di.inishes 90%

Would buy again - just.

Works really well hold to vents well and not worried it will fall off as you drive.
- It pivots a bit which is nice it can face you more driving or others.
- Quality build holds phone securely and comes out well.
- Keep in mind your case as my IPhone 11 just fits I have a slightly chunky case for protection and it just fits. If you have a slim case you're fine but if it’s super protective you should double check the dimensions.
- Looked at a few of these but went for this one for price and quality would recommend

This phone holder uses the phones own weight on the bottom stick to secure it, so when you pick up the phone the side holders push out. Frankly, super simple and brilliant design. I'm impressed!

This one is easy to take the phone in and out, and the phone stays upright - I've used other clips which let the phone rotate a bit too much.

Basically, it delivers exactly what the advertising says.

4 stars for sturdiness mostly becuase its plastic and if you sit on it it will die but thats just the nature of these things. I wouldn't mind an aluminium version of this, but that might be too heavy.

I hate bulky phone holders, and this one is certainly NOT bulky. It's easy to install and simple to mount and dismount my phone. After a few days of using it, it feels reasonably sturdy. The actual vent mount is a little different than what is shown in the photos, but is better than the photos in my opinion.
I used to have a magnetic holder, which was simpler to use, but I didn't like having to always purchase a compatible case from the same manufacturer (their cases kinda sucked).

DISLIKES:
The only three downsides to this holder is (1) the side braces slightly cover the volume & power button on my iPhone 8, (2) it can't holder a phone in landscape mode (which maybe is a good thing, as I shouldn't be watching videos while driving anyway), and (3) after buying a second one for my wife's car, it doesn't mount very well on her vents. Her whole vent pivots up and down as a single unit, so the weight of the phone causes it to fall forwards. Whereas, my car's vent is fixed in place, with just the vent blades pivoting individually, so it stays in place.

Would I still buy it knowing what I know now? Only for my car's type of air vents.

This is a very cost to performance item that is very strong and sturdy with an easy mount to any car airvents. The secure mounting method leaves me knowning that the phone or the mount will never fall off leaving scratches or worse cracks. The easy to reach and the easy way to slide the phone in and out makes it even easier to use. I believe that this product is 100% worth it!

Pretty good but struggles with heavy phones and cases

The phone holder is a good design - I like the way it opens and closes using the weight of the phone.

I have a fairly large phone - Oppo Find x2 pro - which is fine without a case and a bit snug with one. The closing arm triggers the volume button with no case, so I had to modify a bit to avoid that.

It's a fairly sturdy build, anchors well in the vent, but is a bit wobbly when my phone + case are together in there - too heavy it seems.

Great for summer in Aus where you need to cool your phone as you drive. Mine was overheating on my windscreen holder, so this is a good alternative.

Bought because of its ability to hold mobile in a stable position as indicated by the reviews. When you place your device in it it closes around it. Easy to remove mobile. Easy to view it. After a nightmate trip to a never before seen destination had to use Google maps because other GPSs not able to locate as no number of street provided. But one again the atrocious experience of using Google maps..no voice heard, darkened screen had to hold my phone on my hand because couldn't see anything in the midday sunlight..so this device would have been ideal. The only issue was attaching it to the airvent which was annoying..plus missing out on the airflow from the vent closest to me. Still have it 5 stars because it was stable. Will not be practicing removal but likely to be better if did regularly. My phone Oppo Findx2 pro..bought as another reviewer said it fitted as not included in the list. Have my mobile stored in a case that holds my cards, notes, etc..easily removed to place in this holder. Have not got the standard case on it but would say it would need to be removed but possibly not.

This car mount was surprisingly good quality with nice to touch plastics, a sturdy but not too tough grip on air vents (ie I'm not afraid it'll snap my air vents) and a seamless gripping mechanism which automatically clasps the phone with gravity. Whilst it does rotate, this mechanism means landscape may not work so well but I've found it excellent in portrait for my iPhone 12 in a Mercedes GLE (MY20) where it's sturdy and doesn't vibrate making it easy to read and also easy to reach whilst driving. This is a far better option than the traditional suction cap mounts which for me always fall off at inopportune times and require a bit or a stretch to reach. Very flexible in positioning too meant I could find a perfect spot to place it for ease of reach. Would buy again and recommend to others.

I had to return the item because it wasn't giving me enough clearance to insert the phone in my case, but the quality is good. Compared to some other holders like that, the arms are metal (aluminum, probably) and it feels high quality. It has rubber where it holds the phone. Sadly it allows no adjustments to position so if you have an obstruction above car vents you might have issues so keep that in mind. Packaging was fine, there's nothing else in the box but it's well-protected
