It's probably a bit overpriced but i prefer it to the once supplied by Concept 2. This one is flexible and won't damage my phone.
I have an iphone 11 and width with the case is 800mm. It fits fine and doesn't move at all during hard workouts.

A lot of people mentioned this is simply a piece of silicone, so it's a bit on an expensive end for what it is. My main concern that every time I take the phone out, the whole thing just pops out. Just wondering how long till it becomes loose. It is better than the plastic version though.

Overall I'm happy with it as it does the job it's meant for and the price is ok. I'm using it with a Pro Max 13. My problem with this is two fold; it's a bit soft/flimsy and you have be cautious using it because it can fall of the mount easily and the volume down button gets depressed on the phone if you place it dead centre.

Holds an iPhone 11Pro in a case

I got this because the holder that comes with the Concept 2 does not hold an iPhone 11Pro in a case. This does, and it matches the machine.

Modest drawbacks:

1 — I have to take it off the machine (and hold it in two hands whenever I want to put my iPhone on or take it off the machine). I can’t just leave the holder on the machine and slide or pop in my phone. 2 — my iphone tilts the holder backwards, so that the viewing angle is a shade less than optimal.

Both of these complaints are inherent in using silicone to hold the phone. It’s more flexible, which is simultaneously a plus and a minus.

Neither of these is that big a deal, although when I am spending another $18 to replace something that came free with the machine, I wanted it to perfectly hold my phone, not adequately hold it.

Not necessary purchase, but better than the holder included with Model D Rower

I unboxed my Model D rower from Concept 2 today, and there was a phone holder included that also attaches to the PM5. However, the Concept 2 phone holder is rigid plastic, and the top portion has a ridge that is as long as the bottom, preventing the use of my iPhone's volume buttons. This model only has a hook for the top portion, which enables me to use the volume buttons. This model is made of fairly flexible silicon but it still stays snug on the PM5 and the phone is secure. If these differences matter to use, get this. If not, you don't need to order this if you haven't gotten your Model D delivered yet.

Fits precisely and holds iPhone X firmly

Silicone or silicone-like material, fits nicely and firmly on top of the BikeERG exercise bike’s standard display panel. Holds iPhone X firmly so I can swipe the iPhone screen while exercising to cycle between different panels (the BikeERG software collects various information on multiple panels.) The holder attaches/detaches easily from the standard display. Does exactly what I wanted it for. I wish they made a holder big enough to hold my 12.9 iPad Pro!

The phone holder that came with my C2 is plastic and very fragile looking, I didn't even bother trying it because my phone is BIG. With a chunky case it's even bigger.

I gotta say that I was grinning when I managed to snap my phone into this holder. Now, this holder is not perfect - I will have to remove it off the monitor every time to snap in my phone because of it's size and weight, but as long as it stays on the monitor after, I will be happy.

It's basically a molded pieces of silicone/rubber so it has some flex. Certainly an upgrade from what comes with the C2.

I have an apple iPhone 12 pro max and this phone will not fit in the holder while I have it in the UAG case. It will fit when the phone case is removed. It takes a couple times to learn how to place it in to avoid side buttons being pushed.

Holder construction and material are great. Fits snug on my concept 2.
