Each film a masterpiece. Each film totally different. Could there be a better collection of films?
The only anomaly is that Dr Strangelove was inexplicably not included.

The Original look - but slightly deeper colour, contrast and sharpness.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 December 2020
I've seen one review remarking that these discs are not up to expectations - I'd like to say I'm satisfied with the quality for the price and I doubt I'll be spending multiple figures on the 're-mastered' versions when they inevitably come out. Both Lolita and Barry Lyndon are marked on the reverse side of the box as Hi-Def Blue Ray TM Debut - if I were to try and describe the quality, I would say they look like the original films in blue ray quality with good contrast and colour balance - (though like my Clint Eastwood 'The Man With No Name Trilogy' blue ray box set), - they too are as the original film looks (before they are sent off for complete re-mastering). There's something about watching an old black and white film and hearing the fizz of the sound recording etc. - both these box sets are simply the original films in Blue Ray quality (with good sound) as far as the eye can see - and that's exactly what I wanted - films which are sharp and look exactly like the originals. Too-often the re-mastered version of a film is changed or looks unusual (in one famous film I have the dialogue has been changed - only 1 word, but a key word - which is really annoying!! In both these box sets I've been happy to have spent wisely and now have something which looks just as I remember (the originals).

Here's....STANLEY!Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 March 2017
A brilliant box set which includes Kubrick's most memorable films on seven discs along with a bonus documentary film about the filmmaker narrated by the great Tom Cruise, who starred in Kubrick's final film Eyes Wide Shut, also within this set alongside A Clockwork Orange, Lolita, The Shining, Full Metal Jacket, 2001: A Space Odyssey and Barry Lyndon on region 2 Blu Ray, restored into high-def condition with DFS remastered sound, tons of extras, commentaries and anything else you could wish for from one of the best film directors of all time, within the Stanley Kubrick Visionary Filmmaker Collection.

Sheer Cinematic GeniusReviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 January 2018
A great presentation of some of Kubrick's best films, with an excellent and plentiful selection of extra features. Much better value, at the time of buying, than the DVD equivalent. A great addition to your Kubrick collection. Although I already had a couple of these films on DVD, I bought this edition because of the inclusion of Barry Lyndon, and the plenitude of extra features. Well worth it!

Blu ray largely a waste of timeReviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 June 2020
Very disappointed with the Blu ray quality, I have numerous Blu ray movies of a similar age and they are far superior to these, these almost no better than the DVD versions, compare any of these to say Cleopatra, Lawrence of Arabia, Bridge on the river Kwai, those movies are hugely different in picture quality in comparison, my advice is keep your money in your pocket.

HERE COMES JOHNNY !!!! 👀😤😱Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 January 2018
Good box set. Not familiar with Stanley Kubrick’s work And was recommended this. Kubrick is supposed to be the cinematic visionary of old Hollywood cinema, long overbearing and dwelling shots, esthoteeic and symbolic imaginary aplenty, bizarre stories intertwined with a-list Hollywood across and big budget set pieces !!!! If your a fan of Stanley Kubrick it’s a nice little box set at a decent and affordable price with all the work included by the man himself. ❤️❤️
