First of all - we love Andy Griffiths. But this book is by far our favorite. I have not laughed so much in a while. My 6yo son and I both love it. This is not an educational book - it’s a book about different body parts - mostly funny descriptions. For example - there is a page on Adam’s apple. This is what the book says: “other names for this big weird lump are: Bob’s banana, Fred’s fig, Greg’s grape, Malcolm’s mango, Leon’s lemon, Peter’s passion fruit, Rodney’s raspberry, Terry’s tomato and Walter’s watermelon.”

Anyway, If you like books like 13-story house, the Bad Guys or weird school, you’ll love this one as well.

I honestly thought it would be factual but would shine a humorous light on the body topics it chose... it got the humor but missed the facts.

When the reviews say that there is no educational value about this book, they meant it. I got a good laugh out of the first 15 pages, and then I felt dumb reading it to my kid who was excited to learn about the science of the body. I would offer that it may be a fun book for a pre-teen to borrow from the library or a gag gift, but I find no reason to own it on my shelf.
