It’s not a book ideally suited to people curious to find out about Tibet or Guru Rinpoche in a general way.
infact bought one for a friend too
Padmasambava at his best... Lotus Born.....
excellent book, every dharma practitioner should have one
I love this book. I found it absolutely brilliant and accessible. There is a huge amount of Buddha Dharma coded into the 7 line poem, and Mipham Rinpoche does an amazing job of unpacking it for you to enjoy. 6 stars out of 5. Highly recommended.
