Bergerac-obsessed Will Smith has one guiding force in his life - an audiobook of John Nettles reading the ancient Chinese text of the Tao. He has always used this audio to illuminate problems in his life, to find a way through when the road seems blocked. Now, Will brings the Tao of Bergerac to his audience, as each week he navigates the minefield of love, justice, individuality, and machismo with the help of some special guests from his favourite TV show.
Will Smith is a vastly experienced and acclaimed writer who has contributed to some of the funniest television comedies in the last few years, including Armando Iannucci's Time Trumpet and the multi-award-winning The Thick of It. He can currently be seen performing alongside Paul Whitehouse and Harry Enfield on BBC1's Ruddy Hell! It's Paul and Harry.

Fun from former Jersey resident

Fun from former Jersey resident, 'posh boy' comedian and Bergerac super fan, Will Smith. Wry smiles rather than LOLs from me as Will shares tales of his personal life and links with interpretations of the Chinese Tao (as read by John Nettles): the Six Degrees of Bergerac interludes are impressive. Worth a listen and for such a low price (for a used copy) absolutely no complaints from me.

Had heard this on the radio a few years ago. Light hearted and amusing.

This guy is crazy. I love his "Six degrees of Bergerac" at the end of each episode. And John Nettles has a bit part! I have since heard his radio series "Mr and Mrs Smith" which is laugh out loud funny.
