The author discusses the benefits of developing a system of habits to move you towards goals using small wins along the way. If followed, it will deepen your commitment to continue good habits or to break bad ones.
The author lists several realistic strategies to create systems and why it’s important. My favorite is building a new habit onto an existing one. The best example is that you already talk to your mom every day at 4:00. Now, you add talking to her on your headset while walking around the neighborhood. You get some of your planned exercise in for the day while you stay connected with mom.
Doing is better than staring at what you want three times a day. Recommended.
