Yes,you can remove the antislip bar,
By unscrewing it from underneath.

The two plastic bars on the main table can be removed. They are held on by screws from underneath. Taking the bars off will obviously leave holes in the tabletop.

Hi, i bought the light wood2 model. The bar is not removable. But that is essential because the desk cannot be adjusted firmly flat. It tilts as soon as you start working on the computer.
