It has a digital zoom, so you can to a point, but the image quality will reduce. I would recommend plugging it into a USB 3.0 port (needed for 1080p raw image stream without glitching), set it to record at 1080p and that way your zoomed in image quality will be reduced but not as bad as zooming in at 720p.
