About the Author

Agustín Laje nació en la ciudad de Córdoba (Argentina) el 16 de enero de 1989. Desde muy joven comenzó a interesarse por las ideas políticas, convirtiéndose en columnista de importantes medios nacionales con solo 18 años. Es autor de los libros Losmitos setentistas (2011), Cuando el relato es una Farsa (2013) y su último trabajo se llama El libro negro de la Nueva Izquierda (2016), en coautoría con Nicolás Márquez. Es Licenciado en Ciencia Política por la Universidad Católica de Córdoba. Además, estudió contraterrorismo y combate contra el crimen organizado en el Center of Hemispheric Defense Studies, de la National Defense University en Washington DC. En 2020, se tituló como Máster en filosofía por la Universidad de Navarra. Ha sido premiado tanto en Argentina como en el extranjero numerosas veces. Actualmente dirige el think tank Fundación LIBRE. Sus columnas han sido publicadas en medios locales, nacionales e internacionales. Actualmente es columnista de La Gaceta de la Iberósfera, El American, PanamPost, AltMedia y El Liberal de España. Sus ensayos de filosofía política han sido premiados cinco años consecutivos en México por Caminos de la Libertad. Ha brindado conferencias en distintos países, tales como Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Perú, Paraguay, Ecuador, Bolivia, México, El Salvador, Colombia, Costa Rica, República Dominicana, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, Estados Unidos y España.

Agustín Laje was born in the city of Córdoba (Argentina) on January 16, 1989. From a very young age, he became interested in political ideas, becoming a columnist for important national media at the age of 18. He is the author of the books Los mitos setentistas (2011), Cuando el relato es una Farsa (2013), and his latest work El libro negro de la Nueva Izquierda (2016), co-authored with Nicolás Márquez. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the Catholic University of Córdoba. Additionally, he studied counterterrorism and combating organized crime at the Center of Hemispheric Defense Studies, National Defense University in Washington DC. In 2020, he received a master's degree in philosophy from the University of Navarra. He has received numerous awards both in Argentina and abroad. He currently directs the think tank "Fundación LIBRE".

His columns have been published in local, national, and international media. He is currently a columnist for La Gaceta de la Iberósfera, El American, PanamPost, AltMedia and El Liberal of Spain. His essays on political philosophy have been awarded five consecutive years in Mexico by Caminos de la Libertad.

He has lectured in different countries, such as Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Paraguay, Ecuador, Bolivia, Mexico, El Salvador, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, United States, and Spain.
