When screwing in the screws, the outer coating of the desk breaks away too easily around the holes, great care is needed for this. I've made many pieces of furniture over the years with similar materials, and this was the most fragile. Also, the plastic feet metal pins bend and made it difficult to hammer into the base, and it was a challenge to fix this problem up. Another concept for doing the feet would be advisable for future desks. Besides these small issues, we are happy with the desk. The product came quicker than expected, but please note, it comes in 2 boxes, and they were not delivered together. We thought we had everything and started to build it, realising there was another box which hadn't arrived until a few days later. Best advice is to read the "box 2 of 2" information on the sticker to see if you are still waiting on another box. It would have been good if the 2 boxes had been delivered together. This desk is still worth the purchase, as it's a great design with loads of storage, and a good size desk for a teenager/adult to use for homework/work, computer/laptop and drawing.
